Students for the Exploration and Development of Space is a movement that inspires and empowers student space enthusiasts to follow their unique pathways in contributing to humanity’s expansion into space for the betterment of all mankind.
In Canada, we are doing our part by organizing several competitions and an annual conference to engage students and help grow the space sector.
We are also building a network of student space groups across Canada and giving them a collective voice to advocate for space to the general public, media and government.
My School went there, and it was da bomb. Not only was the experience awesome, I just wish my school district had enough money to have a cafeteria like that😂

This is an excellent video! Writing from my experience as a staff volunteer with SEDS Canada, the organization's events and projects have let myself and other people across Canada learn more about the country's growing space industry, with opportunities to learn from experts both from private space companies, departments of the federal government, and experts from academic institutions. SEDS Canada has been doing great work to connect people to these opportunities to learn and develop their careers in the space sector.
I'm grateful to SEDS Canada for providing me with opportunities to build leadership skills, meet other students passionate about Space from across the country, and the world, and collaborate with the Canadian Space Agency and amazing Aerospace Companies to put on events for students and improve access to space. As someone who grew up in an underserved rural community, I have grown so much through my experiences at SEDS Canada and hope to help others do the same.
Very excited to see AuroraSat on this panel. Patrick has worked with colleagues and youth across the territory to provide these opportunities to youth in partnership with the CSA and our consortium partners. This has been countless hours and effort to get to this point and will generate territory wide interest as his team begins collecting the art and audio content!
