Does your glow plugs work? These engines are using pre combustion swirl chambers, and they need to preheat before starting. Other things might be air leaks into the fuel delivery system causing air bubbles in the injector lines. Those are the simplest things to check.

There's basically 2 variants for these. Either an external one or internal one. The external one is mounted externally on the bosses on the fuel pump and actuate the arm I pulled on the pump assembly. The other variant is doing the same thing but the connection is internal inside the pump with the solenoid bolted to the pump facing to the front of the engine.
@@SweedSleds95 Thanks, i think we have the internal one. Do you know which wire is the pull open wire and which is hold open , we have a grey ,a black and a blue wire running into that area .
@@kw4690 Sorry, I don't. My variant is the external one with a single wire to energize to shut off. My best idea is to use a multimeter to sort out which is the ground by connecting the negative prong to the casing of the actuator and testing the wires that way. Unless the casing is isolated, then it won't hurt by just trying the wires by connecting them two-and-two to a battery and see what it does. Electric actuators like these are just like switch relays with a electro magnet and it doesn't matter if you get the negative and positive lead right, the electro magnet inside works regardless of polarity of the wires.

I have IG 2.4 kubota engine that is running on LPG. Is it possible to change it to run on benzine or deizel. As it looks like it has a place for deizel fuel pump.
You need to turn that fuel screw up on the front of the engine. It makes those little engines so much more responsive and a little extra black smoke never hurt anyone
Absolutely not. It's as tuned as it can be. It even has heavier springs in the governor to rev pass the original 3600 rpm limit. Now it revs to about 6000, that's more than enough for what this is going to do.
Man i cant wait to restore mine,, it has been sitting outside my papas friend's house fkr 2+ years, and it is seized, trying to turn the pistons over so i can continue the restoration, wish me luck!!
Great video. Any chance I could send you some photos of the D722 - E. that we have. The guys that removed it cut all of the wires. I have some questions as to how to get the motor started. Lots of guys on RU-vid jump across to terminals on the starter and I'm not seeing that same set up on my starter.
