This was some excellent flying. So sad that they gave up on hover mode in a single patch. I hope they give us a damn Radar Altimeter soon. Trying to judge your distance to objects, while flying ships with nearly all downward visibility blocked, is not easy. I hope you can start recording in HD.
who thinks that it is a good idea to use a 120,000 dollars car as a tractor don't get me wrong I love the unemog but come on you can get a better farming machine for half the price

Unimogs were invented around the same time as tractors and have changed very little since then (at least mechanically). Mercedes have been selling them profitably for decades, so clearly there are actual farmers who use them. If you want proof, just spend a few months driving around rural Europe. They are everywhere.
You could pull every thing that that machine just pulled with a ton truck and power all of it with an actual tractor I can see what they are trying to do here but I see several problems with it including but not limited to the fact that your implement is not right behind you where you can make sure everything is running smoothly. Honestly I think Mercedes should just stick to cars, and leave the tractors to the companies who actually make tractors.
Yes, they are pushing it as a farm vehicle in this video, but Unimogs are actually an all-terrain vehicle. The best one in my opinion. Farming doesn't show what they are really capable of. Going through water up to the windshield, climbing almost vertical inclines and pulling tons of weight. Not to mention the hydraulic system that allows you to hook up any hydraulic-powered power tools like chainsaws, drills and jackhammers. They are pretty much a complete construction site.
Would love to hear from an actuall farmer that is using a U500 or any other unimgo for that matter and finds that its big enough to do the job at hand "Farming" and actually saves money buy using it VS say a John Deer of = size. I love Unimogs dont get me wrong but I used to farm as a kid and in wheat farming Im not sure that it would be worth having.. mainly due to the fact that it is a little small to pull a plow or haul large volume of wheat to the bin. Spraying yes, maybe pulling a harrow.
