I wanted to get the earthshaker, but that thing along with every tier8 Premium see's 95% tier10 battles. Could've gotten the strv 8 for 2000 gold and free xp But again tier10 battles with tier8 tank doesnt make much fun. All the unicum tubers hand pick what they Show. Take care!!
Got the Earthshaker but didn't even tried it. Draugen is better and there is simply no point. They share the same gun but the Draugen is smaller, has better concealment, it's more nimble. If you wanna go with the Swedish prems, STRV-K is a very good tank although is a hybrid heavy and tier IX.
E-50M is now trash, has been for years. Only thing to do with this tank since the armor is useless is snipe, gun is pretty good, pen is a little weak unless you fire gold. Side scraping saves it until todays meta which is all about HE.
Grille change had me surprised, grille should only have only 50° rotation. Stupid buff/change. Shooting around 90° corners is gonna be way easier for it to poke while exposing MINIMUM of it's hull.
Tiers 5, 6, 7 are the most fun. Also the tiers where individual skill makes more difference. Pulling out a win against daunting odds can sometimes be done on these tiers. At the higher tiers dpm is often comparatively lower which makes it difficult to overcome larger enemy numbers. Same as you, I can't wait for the Tusk contract to be over so I can stop playing tier IX and X asap.
Indeed, slow has become bad in WOT. No wonder if WG are just pumping out premiums that are always more powerful and faster and faster. The number of times I've been taken out by inferior players in a Bourrasque or a Vanguard... I unlocked the Jpz E 100 years ago (one of my first tier Xs) but didn't play it immediately. Finally started playing it recently because I needed it for the Tusk contract and even though I've had a few decent games (no Ace yet but a couple class I's) it's been terrible for the most part. Often your team will steamroll and you'll be chasing the battle and barely get 2 shots off. So you decide to be more aggressive in the next battle only to be spotted and get hammered by premium TDs or arty that have no problem penning you. I am someone who wants to unlock all TT tanks and so I will play all tanks. And playing slow tanks, more often than not, is no fun. Mainly because WG have done everything they can to speed everything up. They show no love for older TT tanks many of which have become obsolete. One interesting thing you said is: META is the most effective tactic to reach your goal in the game. In WOT I wonder more and more what IS the goal of this game? I used to think it was unlocking all tanks but when you look at players spending their days playing the newest, most powerful premiums, it clearly isn't... I think WG could make TT grinding more interesting through specific ops and goals. They have the 'On Track' series but that only works for a limited time on a specific tech tree, plus it makes everyone play the same TT at the same time. The old mercenary contracts used to have very specific tank restrictions that were sometimes fun, sometimes less but at least it was something new and original. Why not refresh TT grinding by making progress possible through mini-ops for which you can choose from a limited list of similar tanks instead of having to play the same tank of the previous tier over and over? Incite players to play all types of tanks and there will be more variety in the matchmaking and on the battlefield. But I'm afraid WG only want to incite you to spend ridiculous amounts of $$ on the latest OP premium...
I absolutely agree with you that the game should be more than a 4-5 minute run'n'gun sh** show. More content, more substance, less style... But, they are limited because so called free to play games can't take up too much space on PSN because otherwise they could not be in F2P category but would have to be stand-alone games. Since they added Cold War and a bunch of premium tanks, they can't develop WW2 mode anymore. Not enough memory, so to say. That's why we still don't have all the old maps nor redesigned or genuinely new maps. It's not, as WGN proclaims, that there are still a lot of people playing the game on PS4 and XBO so they can't improve the game engine, it's that they're constantly on edge with the space reserved for a free2play game. If there was no Cold War, they could easily develop WW2 to unimaginable heights, but this way all additional content (war stories, ranked battles, etc.) has been abolished. Mercenary contracts are much easier because this new generation of fast-pace "casual" players would not be able to unlock a single tank. That's why we have what we have. A game that is a shadow of what it could be...

Yesterday I decided to go back to Cold War for the first time in months to speed up my Tusk contract and it was even worse than I remembered. I can't even take it seriously anymore, it's hilarious, a circus. I played the RU251 and I was going at 88kph! Then I noticed I hadn't even unlocked the best engine yet, so it can go even faster. There was one battle where a platoon of 2 Walker Bulldogs had more damage than my entire team combined just by racing around and shooting on autolock. Like wolves attacking a herd of defenseless sheep. I was in a stock FV101 (with a pathetic gun) and almost managed to kill one of them then drove myself off a cliff. Many days I wonder why I'm still playing. I already play a lot less than before. At least now I have a PS Plus subscription and I'm exploring many other games. For a couple of years this used to be almost the only game I played. So sad to see what it has become...
@@paskeetje Again, I absolutely agree with you. It is sad. Last two weeks I just don't know what to show here on channel. The gameplay is so bad and I don't even know what would people like to watch. I had one battle with 22 TD's out of 30 tanks in WW2 mode!!! Anyway, I can't have high-damage games all the time and I don't have the patience, focus and skill for three-marking tanks. So, I'm pretty much stuck here because I have a feeling that people only want to watch high-damage games and marking tanks, at least at these small channels like it's mine. Anyway, it is what it is. @@littlearies1326 No problem, always nice to see like-minded people out there. I'm more of a 2 mark player myself and I rarely get to 2 anyway because I just can't be bothered anymore. Nowadays there are so many steamrolls that I often just drive myself off a cliff or into water or just into plain sight where I can get shot quickly so I can start the next battle. Unless if I'm potentially on an ace tanker but that is rare when you are losing badly. If you could return to the lobby without losing your XP and your silver I would probably do it in 30 to 40 percent of my battles... I can't even remember how many hundreds of times I was the last remaining tank on my team (often with 80 to 100% of my HP intact!). But in the end it often doesn't pay off in XP and it only costs you more silver and you end up being an XP and damage farm for the top players on the other team... I also considered being a CC one day but the game just became too frustrating to make a second day job out of it! I do still post many of my ace tanker videos on my channel (feel free to check out) but it's more like my private collection that is shared with the public (no comments and no editing). I don't get many views and I don't care but if at least one person can get something out of watching one of my videos, that's enough.
@@paskeetje I worked as a gaming journalist for over 20 years as my second job. I reviewed countless games and I just got tired of it. So I entered this WOT thing on YT much too late. And I'm also too old to achieve too much.
Lower tier games are far better,I don’t play tier tens anymore to many op tanks,and lose money,wg’s plan,everything in this game is manipulated to make wg money,so I’ve gone back too lower tiers,mainly tier fives,feels like the old game again
@@littlearies1326 honestly tier 5 is what I play now and it’s so much better,still a bit frustrating,4 arty in most games,but definitely better than tier ten,I gave up tier 8 consistently bottom tier it’s terrible,I play the Churchill with pref mm,so much more fun,people need to stop spending money,that’s the only way wg will do anything

I'm a few years too late in this to be of any significance. When I was working as a gaming journalist, RU-vid was just becoming a thing. So, to conclude this, I agree that E3 is a powerful tank but just not particularly good. E4 is much better but I don't like either one.

Kitted with turbo and gun stabilizer. Crew also has all gun perks. No need for scouting and cammo perks. But I agree with you. I play Cold War just for silver, nothing else. I mostly play WW2.
Thank you for watching and replying. Well, T77 or SU130? It depends what kind of gameplay you enjoy. Sitting at the back in bushes and finding your window of opportunity, then SU130PM. Insane cammo and hard hitting gun. No armor at all. If you are more like an "action guy", then T77. Personally, I like autoloaders better and I would always choose T77. It's a heavy tank but it is mobile, has good mid-to-close combat gun. Three hard hitting shots with good penetration value. Hopefully I helped a little....
Era 1 is the only mode I enjoy. 2 and 3 I play exclusively to earn silver for WW2 mode as they seem to attract lemming trains of yolo-ing players and the games are mainly short and unsatisfying to play. T95E3 is a very well balanced vehicle to play and it came free to all when this mode entered the game. I see little point in playing much else. A fine game on Swamp map. The bushes here are many. It is interesting to note how spotting mechanics work(or don’t correctly) with true vision in CW mode. You seemed to be detected when firing even when behind a bush, which does not happen in WW2 if you are correctly positioned. To be fair, I don’t play here very often and only for silver really, so maybe I’m wrong. Anyway well played again.
