Pioneering nu-disco, Lifelike caught the attention of DJ Falcon and Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter with his "Black Chess" single during their Together 2002 tour. This catapulted him into the elite "French Touch" family, alongside Daft Punk, Justice, Alan Braxe & Fred Falke, Air, Cassius, etc.
Almost every release since then has been championed by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong & Annie Mac, DJ Mag, MixMag, and Future Music Magazine, hailing his work as “sure-fire hits on dance floors”. His notable tracks include the massive international club hit "Discopolis" (Vulture), "So Electric" (Wall Of Sound), "Sequencer" (Vulture), "Don't Stop" feat. A-Trak (Kitsuné), and recent hits "Sexodrome" & "NightWalk" (Anjunadeep).
As a remixer, Lifelike has transformed tracks into hits for Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, The Chainsmokers, Amtrac, Chromeo, Front 242, Sia, Empire Of The Sun, Moby, The Presets, etc., boasting over 40 remixes in total.
Absolutely love this track🔥🔥🔥!!! LIFELIKE for me you are definitely THE most underrated nu-disco/French Touch artist. His entire catalogue is one banger after another. One of the first songs I came across was an enigmatic remix you did for Alyoa, the song was called Its been to long and it quickly rose to being one of the MOST played songs on my IPOD. I recently found that old IPOD and began listening to all the music I had on it, and the feeling of nostalgia hit really hard after listening to an entire playlist dedicated to LIFELIKE. I remembered all the good times I had jamming to those tunes such as So Electric, Running Out, Toi et Moi, Second Lives, Proof. Your music got me through some hard times. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Also this song is definitely gonna be on my Spotify Wrapped 2024 👊😎.
How is this song not at Millions of views?!?!?! One of the best songs to make love! Or drive a car at night in the rain! Or smoke a bowl to! Or just vibe to!
c du nu nu nu disco revival, jen écoutant ce morceau, e me retrouve projeté dans les middle 90's a l'époque de Armand Van Helden et les balbutiement de Bob Sinclar qui faisaient dejà une sorte de nu disco
