Hello, My name is Rebekah and I really enjoy drawing manga! On my channel you will find drawing tutorials, speed drawings, and other art related videos. =D
It's always awsome to see someone else enjoying using blender. I have been using it for about 5 yeara now and have learnes a lot, but I still have a lot to learn. Something i have found helpful in modeling complex modes like buildings is to not be afraid to make things out of separate pieces. using separate pieces to make some trim for the door and for the face of the door itself would help hide the messy edge of the door frame. As you use blender more you will get better at makeing clean models but cutting organic or compound shapes out of a mesh is pretty challenging at first. Hopefully some part of that was helpful. Goodluck with your future projects.
About the weird shading and parts of the model appearing black: If you have sharp corners on your model (such as doors with depth), use Auto Smooth. You can also select edges (in the “Edge” tab in edit mode) and mark them as Sharp. As the name of the function suggests, it makes those edges appear sharp. And about the parts of the model showing up black in Clip Studio Paint: When modelling in blender, always turn on “Backface Culling” (To find it, click the small arrow on the right of the 4 spheres/shading modes at the top of the screen) If your model looks like it’s inside out, select it, go to Edit Mode, open the “Mesh” tab, go to normals and click “Flip.” Hope this helps!! also love your mushroom house model :3
I kept mishearing "pikmen" as "pigment" and I thought the whole monster story was some kind of metaphor for how art could be scary for a solid 40 seconds.
I like to think that Haira's motivation is crave for adoration I like to think that Haira did not really get along with other people and that left her insecure, craving prople's validation. When she found the gem and discovered the other facets to her power, she decided to use it to her advantage. After seeing the way people's reactions changed towards her brcause of her tea, she desired for others to adore her. The insecurity of being an outcast turned into a deep rooted fear which only spurred her to continue brainwashing people with her tea so that she could run away from her fears. The more she used the gem, the more her mindset changed. Instead of putting in the effort to get people to hsve good opinions of her manually, she started using the tea to control everyone's thoughts and opinions on her. The people never saw/see it coming because Haira was always secretive of her true intentions
I'll love to see more models for your fantasy story:D "I'm very excited to see the fantasy story and I love fantasy stories, lol" but again don't feel stress out you can take breaks:>
Great video! Everyone who has tried to learn Blender feels your pain. You are doing great!!! More Blender please, I see a spin off channel in the works.
5:00 The reason why the table's not smooth is it doesnt have enough edges, the more edges you have the more smooth it gets. 6:24 Honestly, relatable 18:39 I wish you luck cuz creating a character model and rigging it is not beginner friendly, maybe bcuz Im using Maya instead of Blender but meh
As someone who's currently studying 3D stuff, there's a LOT of things you gotta study and understand even just basic functions of a 3D software, so props to you for giving it a try
Wow! this was really really cool!!! It would be a good way to make your own models and then use them in your own art- I never thought of it!! I really liked seeing you try this, and I do think I'd like to see more if you decide to make more of these videos!
ok 3 things, 1. YES! I would LOVE to see Silva's palace! 2. Its always inspiring seeing you create Pariah's world. 3. o! & I would love to to see u create a "Pariah-themed" oc challenge!(if ur born in these months ur good, in these months ur evil, ur birthflower is the flower u grow ect.) anyway, God Bless!
I think you could've done the same thing you did for the little oven exhaust as for the door; making it a seperate object and using that one extender thing. Sorry english isn't my first language :P You could also join them together at the end! Amazing video btw <33
I’m sad that you don’t like it, but I love it. It’s a nice deviation from the basic, overrated “correct” coloring that everyone does just for the prettiness (which, honestly, gets boring real quickly) and yet the colors aren’t a complete eyesore (sorry, I’m just really sick of using basic colors, which is why I always add 20% hue to my drawings) From my experience, the more someone progresses in their art journey, the more experimental they become, and the more fun they feel when creating art!
AHH i'd love to see more 3d modeling!! :) i really love when you post about pariah's world in general and watching your progress would be fun!! i love the worldbuilding videos you've started to make 💕
I used to learn Maya a few years ago in my school... Am proud to say that I aced the practical exam (we were allowed to have notes, and I made some pretty good ones), but I always struggle with modelling human characters 😅 Maybe I should try and get back to it... assuming I have free time between my assignments 🥲 Maybe I should make another "List of basic controls and transformations" if I ever do a deep dive for Blender
Omg i love videos like that! I know people might like your character art more but as an artist seeing that drawing of the mushroom house was really impressive! I hope you’ll try other stuff too! Silva’s castle seems like an interesting challenge 👀
You're the second artist I've seen using blender for backgrounds. Makes me want to learn it too 😅 at the moment though all I've made in blender is 1 donut. I only really use the video editor it has at the moment
I'm not going to lie i'm so excited and hyped for pariahs story 😭 i've been binge watching a bunch of the 'chibi elf' videos and im just more and more excited
Addressing Issues with the Balcony The first step in resolving any issues you may be experiencing with the balcony is to go to the editing mode and check the face orientation. Ensure that all the pieces are facing the correct direction. In my experience, this usually helps resolve many problems. Cutting Holes and Importing Models When it comes to cutting holes into the model and importing them into other programs, it's crucial to ensure that the model has sufficient support geometry. Here's a simple fix that can help with this problem: Select the faces around the window or door. Press Ctrl+T to convert them to triangles. Press Alt+J to convert them back to quads. This process should hopefully fix the problem you're encountering. Importing Colors from Blender to Clip Studio If you want to import the colors you created in Blender to Clip Studio for your model, follow these steps: Go to your rendering settings in Blender. Enable "Color Management" and set the "View Transform" to "Raw." In your viewport, set the "Render Pass" to "Diffuse Color." Export to FBX. By following these steps, you should be able to import the colors you created in Blender to Clip Studio for your model. I hope these tips help you resolve the issues you're facing and enhance your workflow.
blender is a really good resource for artists because it helps them see how light and shadow is applied, what certain things look like in a certain angle etc. I love your videos and none of them fail to make me smile❤
I've used blender before, and kinda know what do to, i just get overwhelmed and so i misread everything and then its difficult aka i just cant read LOL
