When I saw "AI music" I thought, "Ugh. This is going to be awful." It is shockingly good! Sure beats hearing Norman Greenbaum for the ten-thousandth time.
There is a minimum number of pilots need to have been able to launch during the available launch window before the task is valid. In this case the launch (wind direction) conditions got so bad they closed the launch so the number of pilots able to launch was too low. The crash was not the issue.
Hi. There are no active schools in Scotland but we are currently trying to get an instructor to come up from the South for 3 weeks next year to do a course. If you're interested then log your interest at forms.gle/qSs7yPSvYsBsxcqz5 Thanks
That's why we're promoting a new fast track approach. The learning process is all part of the fun, there are no gliding related sports where patience and perseverance are not a requirement of safe fun flying. 😃. I fly sailplanes, hang gliders and in the past paragliders, they all require perseverance!
Scooter tow, car tow are all really good ways of teaching or getting an aspiring pilot to learn how to balance a glider. I think it better than hitting the training hill the first time. I agree about perseverance, well it's true for everything but really comes in handy in free flight.
But theres something called aptitude as well :) and it's very very important in any flying discipline. To some it comes naturally and I have seen instructors turning people away who couldn't grasp concept of flying regardless of being totally invested in it :)
A good strategy to consider is getting a large scale radio control model sailplane and building up a landing knowledge base in what it takes and what is involved in toplanding on a slope ridge crest. Maybe better start with a medium sized r/c slope glider model. Why risk so much needlessly?
Hey, I am currently working on a weather doc for Channel at a production company called Raw TV. I really love this footage and think it would be great in the programme. Can you please drop me and email on eden.gilby@raw.co.uk for some more info and I can send you over the first episode. Thanks!
Hi Dan. Was filmed over Loch Leven, in Fife, Scotland. It is just next to the Scottish Gliding centre so plenty activity in the air. The K2 is great, no problem with is at all, particularly like the fact is has a proper Screw thread for attach it to off-the-shelf clamps etc. Only thin I would change would be a dedicated remote control rather than having to use a smart phone.
Hi, ghost is great, my last was a veho. Ghost picture quality is superb, compared to friends gopros difficult to see a difference. Usability and features on ghost eclipse gopro.
How many hangglider pilots does it take to rig an Atos? By the way, the AIR website says Mike should be able to do it in 12 minutes once he's got the hang of it!
that is very brave i seen you walk up stewart on saturday and you walked up like super man with all that weight on. how long was your walk out in the end as after carrying a rs for 50 metres was hard enough, full respect cheers gary
