I love this!! I live in the country and have several Barred Owls 🦉 living in the surrounding woods. They hoot it up daily, starting as early as 4 pm in cooler months, and around midnight in the summer. They call back and forth to each other with one saying. HOO HOO , HOO HOO, AHHHHH. I have only seen that Owl once, but it was a true blessing; so beautiful and majestic. Thank you for sharing. ❤🦉❤
i heard two of these calling back and forth to each other in the woods on my family's farm. didnt know what species they were until now but that first call is unmistakeably what i heard
So I’m going by memory but there’s maybe 5 different calls here. Does anyone know what each one means. I have noticed that the owl will make a call and then I see a deer. Tonight I heard a call and then a coyote started going crazy. I’m sure one is a mating call. Ones a territory thing. But which call is which ?
Love It! I also have one that sings out of my Bluetooth speaker that calls in Pileated Woodpecker’s. Woody Woodpecker is amazing as well. My squirrels aren’t going to love me throwing the Barred Owl out howling much though😂🙌🏼💃🏼
Thank you for helping me sleep! Before last night, I've never heard anything like this, very similar to the owl in video @ 1:56 I've been TRYING to identify it ever since then, all the other videos of owls just showed the ' Hooting ' or whatever you want to call it. I honestly thought someone was messing with me 😳
