It occurs to me now that this would have been the hardest thing ever done in this game in September of 2019, which is when I first played Celeste. The only other tier 3 golden at the time was Farewell golden, and there were only 3 other tiered goldens (although golden tiers weren't even a thing at that point.) It's crazy to think how far I've come in this game, and even crazier to think how far other lunatics have pushed it. Maybe (given a very, *very* loose definition of maybe) in another 5 years I'll have a high tier 0 and Clantis will have 9DP and Dashless+G back-to-back or something equally outrageous. That's about how insane this would have seemed to me 5 years ago.
This has officially been added to the top golden list at goldberries.net! This is my first modded golden that was enough of an achievement to be worth recording. It has been over a year since I got FWG (my previous hardest) so this is huge. My plans from here include finishing SJ (I have Nelumbo and GMHS left), then finishing off some other maps like Darkmoon Ruins which I've very nearly finished and then probably some easier (I'm thinking tier 5-7 sort of difficulty) goldens before I start any new huge grinds. I do want to finish off Glyph FC at some point in the future but not yet.
You must be slow at typing. You spent 6 seconds typing one word. That is only 10 words per minute. This is ignoring the fact that you knew before you started what the word was.
So I just did another run off-camera and got 21 deaths. 7 or 8 of those were in Recon, which is really stupid, and I don't even think I died that many times in Determination. It is somewhat concerning that I died 4 times as much on-camera, though. I think I'm going to need to use a different recording software (maybe even a physical camera if it's too bad, but I hope not) in the future or else I won't be able to play with any kind of consistency because Celeste + OBS is a recipe for far too much latency.
I know this is a re-upload but OBS kept recording background noise even though I disabled all the audio, and there is a *lot* of background noise in the original footage.
No idea. YT sometimes disables comments, but honestly the comments on that video were probably pretty strange, because nobody who's sober would be watching that for sure. Wait I just watched it oh no
