You are making games with a big universe thriving with literal alien empires and fantasy creatures. But still, petty human gender feud of 21st century is a centerpiece of your marketing campaign for a book based on those games. How pathetic.
Yeah when I play endless space games my first thought was always "I need them strong female characters here". Not the atmosphere and soundtrack and art. Not the gameplay of exploration and rediscovery and diplomacy. Not the battles and the institute. No it was the strong female characters first and foremost. Especially with my favorite factions - Unfallen, Riftborn, Horatio and Umbral choir. You know those guys all have genders and stuff it's very important to them. Looking at the writer you guys picked he's not particularly standing out either with any of his earlier work so promoting it this way is for sure the way to go.
It's not. But it doesn't need to be emphasized like that either. Any human can be weak or strong. What matters is the character and story not the 'genitalia' of said character. 'Weak but interesting regardless of reproductive organ' character has far more power than 'strong but anything interesting lore-wise is their 'v-word'', otherwise, mary-sue character
so sad that is has no Local Coop, a truly disgrace for a game that could have been a Gem, now is just there, lost in the bottom of the list of games i will never play again :(
Thanks for the suggestion! It is something we have seen requested by some members of the community. Unfortunately, it is not that easy to implement, specially when we need to think that for consoles a chat function is a bit complicate to use.
@@EndlessUniverseIndeed it is. But wouldnt it still be a good start to implement it for PC players first to at least have a little bit inclusivity for those who arent able to speak or just simply rather want to chat than to speak?
We try to have parity between the version, and therefore it should be implemented to both platforms. Totally understand that some people prefer not to talk, that is why we have a quick "reaction" wheel that you can use (same button from when you do command orders in single players).
@@EndlessUniverse I think NoNugget4U is right and an In-game Chat would make the experience so much better. the only reason i dont play or buy this game is because there is no in game chat for my mute friend even tho the game looks really good.

i really like the game but i only got 1 trophy left... opening 10k doors. and i put in almost 100hrs already. even 100k monsters was easy compared to the doora lol. can that trophy be changed to maybe 1k doors or even 2k?
rework the 10k doors trophy??? its too much, maybe change it to 1k or 2.5k... please. i killed 100k bugs already, but the doors, sheesh. itll take 1.5more years at the rare im going... pls lower the requirement
I’ve found that the best way to play the empire is with sheer force of numbers which can be very easily done with the Karga being that the ship has Access to four utility slots which can be used for either a jammer of space for extra troops, the other three can be taken up by standard warp engines although you could jump up to the yellow warp drives to give you a much larger area of operations, but it means that it will cost you more in the ways of time and resources, vs the standards which I would only recommend installing only two rather than three because we’ll get to that later on and lastly weapons, when it comes to the hoard build, you’d simply go kinetic all the way, this means that you can gain access to things like the torpedos which at the start of the game already does sixty plus damage, which only increases over time with more research, but that being said, the standard one does a max damage of about seventy which is a lot, but it just has terrible reload and can only have one weapon at a time, however that’s rather inconsequential when when you consider that if you’re civilization is already highly industrialized and industrial based, then you can basically turn what most factions would usually have to wait say about forty turns just for a destroyer, vs you constantly pumping out new ships ever two turns, and if you’re really good and high tiered you can basically cut the space time to basically one turn per ship, yes they’ll explode as soon as they’re hit with anything larger than a politicians ego, but it ultimately doesn’t matter because at the end of your turn you’ll be respawning new and more ships all the while they’re waiting to build their replacements, plus the overall fleet cost is actually staggering being that they only cost about two credits each means that overall fleet costs can be lowered all the while ships like the Zolya make for fantastic interdiction/ interception ships making them perfect for rapid expansions or redeployments.
