How are you gonna do a "teardown" of this laptop and not even mention the fact that the battery is basically impossible to take out due to the glue they use.
How can i tell how what size i need to replace my Wi-Fi card in this model (15-dy5599nr)? I'm pretty sure I've found one that will work, but I'm not 100%! My son's computer suddenly just lost any ability to connect to Wi-Fi... Didn't even show the option anymore. I've tried uninstalling the Wi-Fi card and updating/restarting but it's still not working so it has to be a hardware issue. What's confusing me is that there is a "mini" version listed on Amazon. However, i think this is the one i need, again from Amazon: WiFi 6E Wireless Card Intel AX210 NGW Bluetooth 5.3 Tri-Band 5400Mbps Network Adapter for Laptop Support Windows 10/11 (64bit) M.2/NGFF What do you think? Hi! Two days ago my Samsung book2 Pro 13" just burnet out. After taking it to a repair shop, they pointed at me a fried component on the motherboard but they coult not tell what is it. Is it a place where I can get an electrical diagram of the motherboard or somebody who couls try to fix it?
Hi, thank you so much for this easy and helpful teardown video! I was wondering if you have any advice for me here... My girlfriend accidentally knocked this model of laptop into a pool. I took the entire thing apart and dried it thoroughly with a high powered air blower. Luckily everything worked perfectly (to my amazement!) Aside from a few keys. They are keys that are in close proximity to one another so I am wondering if the inside of the KB maxtrix may not be completely dried, or if is has shorted something out on the controller. Hopefully not the latter. Anyway, I have the battery disconnected and it's sitting keyboard side down on a window fan. I'll leave it like this overnight. Maybe something magical will happen. :)
Biggest issues which can possibly happen to any electronics is liquid damage. Most likely there was a short with the keyboard and would have to replace complete top assembly. However try to dry the laptop completely and check for any corrosion to clean it. One of the good and cheap option to dry the electronics fast is to stick it into the white rice( it will absorb all the mositure). Good luck
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have an issue with my charging USBc port it doesn't connect first, and now it seems that a shortage happened smelling burn. It's easy to replace the port as a part, or I need soldering, etc. Most importantly, where to find the part replacement. Thanks again
My screen is cracked. I removed the LCD screen but I can't figure out how to remove the cracked display screen from the lid. Any tips on how to do this?
ABSOULTE GARBAGE LAPTOP!!!! This crap overheats within 20 mins of use. In stress tests the keyboard gets to almost 60 degree C. It is not worth it at all AVOID THIS LAPTOP AT ALL COST!!! YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!! This guy is clearly being paid by Dell for this video because he is absolutely lying to you about the cooling on this laptop.
🤣🤣🤣 I wish we were paid by the dell for the reviews, but unfortunately not. Reviews are strictly from our tests and data that we collect from other sources. Maybe you should conct dell and address your issues as it's looks like your laptop has some issues which has to be fixed.
Poor cooling design coupled with the turbo processor streching the limit beyond practicality. Try updating the bios as it will help + cooling pad. I personally use it as a hub connected to two screens.
What is the maximum size of each of the 2 ram HP Notebook - 15-bs151nia motherboard supports. Also my laptop has the old type hard disk.where will SSD fit in this and what will be the spexification of SSD. Can i also xhange the processor to 12th generation i3?
very good video; thanks for showing the M.2 wi-fi card. Very important to observe...only 1 antenna so you can only get 433 Mbps with 2 antenna I could upgrade and get 867 Mbps. alas, I am SOL with only 1 antenna in the laptop.
I would like to see a 'palmrest only' replacement video, I know since we're there we can also repaste, but my laptop just got that done, then the keyboard had some keys failing
It's very hard to get the cover off once the screws are removed. The trick is there is a u shaped lip that goes between the hinges. Stick a small screwdriver in from the the top of the hinge and slide it around until it is in the valley of the U shape. Then use the screw driver as a lever to pull the U shaped lip backwards away from the hinges. The screwdriver body tip will be on the U shaped lip and the body will press against the hinge. It comes off very easy this way.
Hello ! Thank you for video ! I have the same laptop and I needed to change the cable that connects to the screen! I replaced and reassembled everything. But it does not turn on and nothing works. What did I do wrong?
