I've owned and sold 2 F3 NS (carbon fiber, M390) and they're so f'n nice but also so f'n expensive. Shirogorov is definitely the world's top 3 knife manufacturers. They're so good, even the Chinese knockoff, AliExpress Green Thorn clone is a good knife.
Four minutes into a 13 1/2 minute video before we ever see the knife open. You know, I actually just watch knife videos so I can see minutes upon minutes of stupid ass packaging being opened or no wait, maybe not…don’t bother to respond. I’ve already blocked this bullshit.
@@chucknunface no, I just like knife videos but for the life of me can’t figure why anyone would want to waste time with packaging, either watching it or wasting several minutes boring an audience who wants to see the FUCKING knife!!!Your reply suggests you are enjoying pissing off your prospective subscribers.Pardon me for suggesting that’s just plain dog shite stupid. But what do I know, maybe telling people who have criticism about your presentation just how much you enjoy irritating them is the BEST way to grow your channel.Congrats,BLOCKED…you WIN!!!! AMF,DB,you’re joining a long list(you’re not the only genius who thinks knife collectors are FACINATED by bubble wrap and FedEx boxes,PACKAGING!!!).
Oh yeah...this is nice! I learned about TheShutterDoug from your channel and his Emerson micarta scales are excellent! And of course @SatuDave is legend, and @itisntdan is always stylin'. Thanks for showing what is definitely a one of a kind now.
I agree this performs well with the high flat grind. And it's the goldilocks size between XM-18 and XM-24. Nice look into what I now consider one of the top 3 Hinderers. Thanks Chuck!
Hinderer and CRK are both incredibly special in their own ways. There are no knives that feel like a Hinderer in my hand. I am usually always either carrying a Hinderer or CRK. My one Strider had terrible centering and QC from the factory
@@chucknunface This doesn't seem quite right but I think something like OZ, Koneig, and still CRK. The first two are in a different price tier but their made in the usa status and prolific reputations sort of mirror what 'trinity knives' are. Status symbols that push what usa knives can be but also make good tools.
Thanks for the video! Just wondering if you had a problem with the pivot screw when you took the brachial apart? I have all but stripped mine.(Show side, pivot screw). Seems like they used a bunch of red Loctite!
It’s so irritating shopping for scales for the Military 1 and 2. You type it in and literally every single thing advertised is for the PM2. No matter how you type it! Such bullshit
@@chucknunface I played with several mockup drawings chopping the spydiehole, and although it looks sleeker, meaner, faster, cooler....I feel it kind of insults the original design/designer too much...
I’m soo mad. You know you haven’t been able to find a TR4 for a while and I wanted one. Then the other day a friend tells me a place has them. I look and it’s the black d2 plain. I bought it. Thinking it may be my only chance. The next week I see these and the black with magnacut. I felt like Homer Simpson dooooh!
Yeah bro..you gotta keep you're ear to the ground. I was looking too then I saw tr3s in magnacut and decided to wait. Reached out to protech and they confirmed TR-4s were coming.
Beautiful knife and informative first look! And yeah, I'm with you on the safety being kind of silly.... Is there like a grey anodized coating on the aluminum, or is it just raw metal that's been blasted?
Just got the raw Ti from Midway at $250. Didn’t know about any coupons, but still a great deal. Other than the color, any difference between the black and raw Ti ?
