Tech Safety Lines is dedicated to providing workers at height with our proprietary training and patented safety equipment they need to stay safe in any environment.
Bet you I can get down without killing myself or bringing the bucket down! Bet you a case. Thump! Awe. The srky13 didn’t work cause he missed a step or two.
I would love to do this job or changing out light bulbs on those towers!!!💯👍 I was a tree climber/ trimmer back in my 20s and loved to repel from the trees but that setup was a tad different than this. Still loved the heights and the view!
I thought about the light bulb changing too, but I thought myself out of it. Another thought; There are many videos here on youtube of cranes falling and breaking when people over load, or swing, or lower the boom under load, and/or a multitude of other slip ups. If memory serves, all I saw were in other countries, but I am sure a few have happened here in the USA. In one, a man got killed, but details couldn't be seen. He was standing at the top of a scaffold, and the next second part of the crane fell on him and removed the place he was standing and him. It was so fast, the poor man just disappeared along with his platform. I don't think the producers were aware of it. I saw that this morning, and it is still tough to think about, now.
@@wmden1 i commented on that exact video clip. That was an instant death for sure, whomever that was only felt the draft, no safety gear could've saved him.
Try again... video paused..!! A Fall-Arrest lanyard should never be used in a MEWP...!!! Only a Fall-Restraint should be utilised..!! Also, has anyone any idea of the energy needed to "knock" someone out of a MEWP platform..?? You need to get the human body to gain at least 1m in height and enough linear motion at the same time to do so... And the only way that would happen would be if you`re not following your training course...
Dear RU-vid... please allow me turn off auto-play when watching these "collections" as I was writing as comment then it fucked off to the next video before i finished, wiping out what I had written...!!! So fuckin` irritating...!!!
Attended my first fall arrest training with an actual TSL tech today! He was very well educated on the gear. The training was very thorough and we only lost 1 day to complete it. TSL sets the standard in safety for work-at-heights.
Interesting device, but I'd want to do several training drops, starting from a modest height (10' or so), rather than practice for the first time in a real emergency. Too many memory items to go wrong under serious stress, unless they've been made habits.
And yet they also have a back up line for safety reasons?, if it is so safe then why would you not show it being used as it would be in an emergency without any green back up line with the visible rope grab on there?.......na I think not!.
Dependent on the country, the vast majority of Health and Safety Regulations prevent single line use during training. There must be a safety line as a back up. A real life emergency obviously that doesn't count.
Not good,,, Next time, use parachut ! Working all time in boom lift (boom, articuled, scisor, and more at different lvl hight, i need a evecuat rope, and i have a 11mm rope of 60m for this. I cain down, and i cain up. Free mouvent. ... Petzl :)
