The problem isn’t that he “can’t” post, the problem is that he just wasn’t as aggressive as he should have been. He’s not fighting for position and he’s getting the ball too far away from the post, even when he’s successful on the spin
That Is true. I think it could also be partly due to the rules but I agree with you and he also took too long to decide where to go. But when he did establish position he did have moves
Go Hoosiers 🏀I’m almost 65 years old and I can still pin it on the rim and sometimes it still goes in and I’m only 6-2 in shoes… I can shoot some 3 too.. check out my vid!!
Knight was a bully, plain and simple. He was able to get away with the crap he pulled because of the era in which he coached. If he grabbed one of today's players by the throat, they'd put him in the hospital, and then sue him for assault.
@@turdferguson7504 - The biggest problem with what YOU wrote is that you mistake bullying people for "guiding them". I'm sure everyone who played for Knight respected his authority. But he went WAY over the line grabbing that kid by the neck, and cussing and screaming at them. The parents didn't send their kids to Paris Island to be Marines. There are MANY coaches as successful as Knight who haven't felt the need to belittle and abuse the kids that played for them. If he ever grabbed a kid of mine by the neck, he'd get his ass beat.
May have been Marty Simmons' finest hour as a Hoosier, given the stage. Alford be like "PLEASE PASS ME THE BALL BEFORE THEY CALL THREE SECONDS ON ME". They still did back then.
This UTES team was such a pleasure to watch. They should have beat Kentucky in the final, but Majerus left his starters in the game for far too long; think I remember coach stating the same thing. Miller, Doleac, Mottola, Jensen, and Johnson played too many minutes. Thanks @ Jeff Parriott for posting this video; brought back lots of good memories from my youth/young adult years. Also, I can see my uncle's bald spot in our seats across from the visiting bench at the Huntsman Center.
