How do you get such precise, crisp images to stamp? I have been trying & failing miserably! I have stamping polish, & I have primed my stamper I think. I'm struggling lately just not doing decent, so I have kind of lost hope & not doing anything lately. I really wanted to learn & do well so I can make pretty one of a kind press ons to sell..
Hi, thanks for your support. I put the stamping polish on the plate, and then I swipe the excess with the scraper. Sometimes scraping the polish top to bottom may work better than side to side or vice versa. I then roll the stamper on to the plate to pick up the image. I have never primed my stampers. This may be the reason you are having issues or it may be that one of the products is defective. Do not get discourage, it happens to me as well.
Doing it quickly is important because stamping polish dries very fast and once it starts to dry, it won't pick up or stamp cleanly. I had so much trouble when starting, too and it just took practice. You'll figure it out, I promise!
