my favorite was the goauche i loved how blendy it got yet was opaque. it just felt cohesive. some of the others felt almost streaky. i need to get in on goauche. which i have some but i have a bunch of acrylic paint i need to use up.
Hi Katie this video was so fun to watch :) Most art book videos I see are “the art of” books of animated movies, video games etc. I really like how you shared art books that you can really study, I will definitely be checking them out! I started The Artist’s Way, although I fell off and need to keep studying it and doing the exercises 😂 I’d recommend Steal like an Artist by Austin Kleon, Draw Stronger by Kriota Willberg, How to be an Artist by Jerry Saltz, Sketchbook to Style by Christine Nishiyama for art in general and 1500 Color Mixing Recipes for oil, acrylic and watercolor by William F. Powell and The Complete Color Harmony Pantone Edition by Leatrice Eiseman for color!
Uf! Clarice Lispector is one of my favorite writers, each book is something different, captivating, magical and you come to recognize her style. ♡ Congrats for your new appartment :)

Tip: any short B real you do should be a minimum of 5 seconds that way it’s easier to edit. (You might think you only want 1 second, but then decide later in editing that you wish you had 1.5-2 seconds… etc)
I LOVE Martin Salisbury's books, especially Illustrators' Sketchbooks and Drawing for Illustration! Now I have to go check out his books on Children's Picture Books! Thank you for sharing!
John Berger also did a short television series regarding the Ways Of Seeing with the BBC, all of which is now available here on RU-vid! For anyone interested :) (also it is pronounced with a j, bur-jer)
This is what I was looking for... to start social media reels for my small business. Gosh! This is soooo helpful. I watched like more than 10 video and no-one really taught me how to do it. Thank you soooooo much Katie! Much love from Sri Lanka :) Gonna subscribe
