Welcome, on this channel I will share my insights on recovery from chronic illness caused by the nervous system like: -ME/CFS -Long Covid -Post concussion syndrome -Chronic pain -Burnout
Furthermore, I will invite you to take the opportunity to use this health challenge as fuel and guidance on a path of radical transformation and growth towards freedom, health and inner peace.

Totally agree. No matter how much brain retraining and nervous system calming you do, you need to process the suppressed emotions to free yourself from triggers
Hey Mats nice video ! Would you say that your ablits for healthy aggression. Setting boundaries etc also improved? Because a lot of the approaches to healing seem more feminine (which I think is needed for healing) but I still want to keep a good ying and yang balance
These things are coming to light more and more for me also, I have spent 2 years with a nervous system that is very dis-regulated (although now I know my brain was warning me way before, and I did not listen or understand the message). For the last year , I have been following a mind-body approach, loads of tools, tools tools I thought I looked at my habits and behaviours and learnt stresses etc, but I am beginning to hear from different parts of me or maybe I am more able to understand what they are saying. My progress has been slow and often stationary but I feel now this emotional work is helping me connect the mind and body. Thank you for sharing your experience. Its truly special to feel connect to people who are going through this because loved ones, however close, can;t grasp it, not that, I blame them, but its just nice to relate . Sending continued healing wishes
Yeeaahhhh... This is how I went from being at 75% functionality and nearly ready to return to work to back to 20% and in bed 20 hours a day. I'm glad this didn't hurt you, but this is generally bad advice.
Hey .Thanks for the video, it came at exactly the right moment for me and helped me a lot. I have a question about this that keeps coming up for me. Since I've had postcovid for about a year now, my heart rate has been very high very quickly during most activities. I make my activities and breaks very dependent on my heart rate because I was told that it is important not to be in a very high heart rate range all day long. This really stops me from relying on my intuition and feelings. If I don't base my activity level on my heart rate but on how I feel, I would do significantly more during the day and then move in very high heart rate ranges almost all day long. Do you have experience with this or do you know this problem and have any tips? Thanks for all your videos, its really helpful.
Don't take his advice here. I tried something similar a year ago and went from 75% recovered to 20% and in bed 20 hours a day. Stick with what you're doing. Listen to your heart rate. Limit your activity. Only increase it by 5% at a time, stay there for a month, and make sure you aren't experiencing increases in heart rate or other symptoms before trying to increase it again. For a variety of reasons, men recover from ME/CFS easier and at a higher rate than women, so take any recovery advice from men with a LOT of salt.
hey man, whenever i feel sypmtoms coming on i watch your videos to calm my nervous system :D since you reassure and remind me that the phsyical symptoms are mostly brought on by thoughts. Thanks for the content and greets from Berlin
Ah thank you -as I’m in the midst of increasing my activity, this is very helpful; more true to my own nature to ask, do I want to do this?; and to feel into my body and learn to let go of the story, and, gently, of the measuring -symptoms may come (and may not) and that’s ok. 🙏🏼🤸🏼♂️
I’m 2 months into recovery from CFS. I’ve seen significant improvement. Your videos help me feel understood and got me through the hard times. Thank you🙏
This is a great point, and another shift in thinking that needs to happen (still avoiding me however). It´s a tricky thing to do, find that balance, especially in state of aggravated symptoms.
Hey Matt, You talk about symptoms coming up to a 7, doing a 10 minute meditation, would you go back into your activity regardless if the symptoms came down? Or did you meditate until the the symptoms would came back down again to a manageable level? Thanks! 👌
Kyle's got a body! Love this. Matso listed my 3 'labels' at the beginning of his intro. I still don'tknow where I am going in my life and I'm 69, but maybe I don't need to know - it's just another identity label. Anyway starting to enjoy the ride rather than wanting to get off the train. ❤And it's so nice watching 2 men talking about feelings and being ok with silences.Nice work Guys.
Great guys! I've been wondering the last few days how I'll know I'm ready for the next steps... thanks for just answering that for me, there's no moment to wait for! 🧡
