The news media in them days made hero's out of the drivers like Brock, Moffat and Johnson but these days the media are out to stab you in the back or find out some story to dig up to denigrate you and Lowndes is always their no 1 target
I don't follow Australian touring cars anymore. It's American touring cars in Australia now. Bathurst died when America took over. Long live Holden. I still have a licensed VL Commodore.
@@v8revengemachinein terms of his single best ever drive I think this is it. He shook the monkey for FPR and Bathurst and he survived a charge from Whincunt and won the race. Yes he won the title in 2015, but won I think 3 races in his title defence and from then he got progressively worse and worse. He’s being replaced by DePasquale next season which, realistically is probably just as pointless, but Frosty was a driver Ford put a lot of money into and let 2 other younger, more talented drivers, Mostert and Reynolds, walk, when really they should have cut ties with Frosty after 2016.
im pretty sure it had the 4gb patch.. i just fired it up with last settings after installing RTX2070Super.. mighta been combo of number of cars and track aswell..
I am so glad I was around to watch these cars race. So many great memories of what I consider, real, true Aussie racing. Not the imported nascar clone we now have. Relatable, soul, exciting is what racing should be. God I miss those days..
