There are kits sold but often you are better off just buying a top end kit aftermarket. Check out Disc Mower Doctor. www.discmowerdoctor.com/discmower-parts-for-sale?machine-type=694&field_test_brand_model_tid_1=500&product-type=All&combine= You do need to know if you have shock hubs or not. Or if you want to convert to shock hubs.

You can't believe ANY specs from Harbor Freight...I thought this was common knowledge...Lol...they flat out lie on everything........I have this Gun and while it's more than enough for cars/trucks..... I knew right away it wasn't 1200ft lbs....probably more like 800-900....because I've used REAL pro grade guns like Snap-on and SK, with over 1000ft lbs....and bolts just Fly off the second you touch the trigger, Major difference with pro grade stuff. Honestly if you're messing with tractors, you should just go 1" for everything, or spend the money on High end automotive stuff, so you Actually know what you're getting and you can Actually trust their Specs.....I had an old F-250 from the 1980's, and that alone almost made me convert to larger impact stuff.....so tractors are bigger.

It’s definitely not a 1,200 pound impact. It does however work fine to remove lug nuts and it’s cheap. That’s all you can ask for out of a $99 tool.
@FarmingGeeks
@FarmingGeeks 5 месяцев назад
I get what you are saying, but if its advertised at 1200 it should be 1200. It is a cheap tool but specs are specs. And yes it would work for standard car/light truck lugs, but bigger things like tractors, or trucks it is going to have problems. It struggled with these front lugs and wouldn't budge the rear.

I promise you if u feed the Earthquake the correct amount of AIR (90psi while in operation) not 90psi on compressor u may need to turn it up a fair bit higher, it will blow that other old gun into the weeds. Id say 'in this video' the Earthquake is purring out around 40 or 50% of its potential power. Its should be spinning at least another 2000rpm.
@FarmingGeeks
@FarmingGeeks 5 месяцев назад
I have large compressor, there is no way that the Earthquake is pushing 1200 ft lbs, at least the one I had. I have plenty of air. Running a regulated air supply on an 80 gallon tank with 175 max PSI. Maybe I got a dud but it didn't matter how much air you fed that thing. Made sure to oil it as well it was just a turd.

Question - I changed the transmission fluid on mine but I let both filters drain all the way out instead of changing them quickly. Now I think I have air in the system because it is difficult to move. What are your thoughts? I thought about changing filters again and filling both up with fluid?
@FarmingGeeks
@FarmingGeeks 10 месяцев назад
Sorry for late reply. Nothing wrong with letting your filters drain out. As a general rule it is not a good idea to fill up filters. You should let the system fill them up. Otherwise you could pour debris into the incorrect part of the filter sending it straight into the system. Did you top off the hydro fluid? If your fluid is full and you filters are on and you have ran it around a little bit and it still has difficulty moving, then you have a problem. Could be as simple as incorrect filters or you could have an internal issue.

If you mean the little ball then yes but so are the ISO couplers. Both have a little ball in the end of them. ISO can also use poppet with a little tit inside. The issue with the old JD couplers is that they are proprietary and really no longer in use and most newer equipment is going to come with ISO or "Pioneer" style fittings.
