I think every season has at least a few gems to enjoy. Will have to see how this one shakes out, but I'm feeling good about it. Bleach is going to be amazing, Blue Box will be an outstanding romance (with a touch of sports) series, Natsume Yuujinchou is back and is always great to see return, and even have a nice harem/love triangle option in Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi. There's plenty to enjoy and true there's always a chance for people to look back and find some gems they've missed over the years.
I'm 100% convinced that the devs do not see any reason to improve the game or make any positive changes in the future. They're too comfortable with where they stand regarding earnings and community. Now they are just doing the most random shit every year during anniversary/summer for fun. They've become more lazy and are likely focusing on other things that have no relation to FGO. If people aren't convinced about this, wait until the 10th anniversary. Watch how they'll turn that into a greed opportunity over making any improving QOLs. Watch how they'll butcher the summer event again. I predict the next anniversary servant will be like how they did with BB Dubai. Stretching out the ascension stages over to the entire summer event it'll be labeled as "Part A" of the summer banner.
the game is basically D!ck riding on the fact that it is from the Fate Franchise, the game is earning tons of money with giving minimal in return in terms of improving the game overall, the game has been a slop for all these years. and we are being milked for a mediocre game at this point. the good story is the only thread it is hanging on at this point in time.
Many western players don't know that strict streaming TOC isn't even new in Japan, some conservative companies will ask the streaming companies (mostly Niconico) to take down the gameplay videos totally, or at least when without the company's consent. In comparison this one, while still undesired, is still better than those who issues a total ban. Some says this move will hinder new players joining up to the FGO gang, but ask yourself: Given the allowance of streaming is up to Lostbelt 5 right now, if one isn't convinced to play the game to read/feel the newer contents even when they read up to Atlantis/Olympus, do you think allowing newer contents to be streamed will have any difference for pulling in new players? And remember, they're freeing up the streaming rules month by month, so it's not like banning the streams for newest contents forever.
my wallet is now closed for FGOJP if FGONA come up with this shitty guideline as well then... my wallet will also close for NA as well. I rather give my money to Chinese gacha game
@@briangen0 Genshin, Star rail, Arknight, Wuthering, reverse 1999 all of them are better than FGO in more way than one, if you call those soulless ... welp, you better expand you gacha world view fast. only thing that hold FGO together is story and this guide line destroy it (I'm follow channal that translate FGOJP story, this guide line will kill it.)
@@PGM991 Yes, these games are largely with fancy graphics and visusls but mediocre characterizations and subpar stories. I'm not going to play them even if FGO went EOS. And really, like my another post said, if one's still not convinced to play FGO even when they can stlll read through Fuyuki to Atlantis/Olympus, they aren't going to play it, so the "streaming rules" aren't going to hurt them in the slightest. As for the content creators it sucks indeed, but they aren't being barred from new contents forever.
@@briangen0 subpar stories, well we know who is the privileged one here, you never even played lmao. FGO has more dead stories, but i gotta say a few good ones to tell.
Well im sad I wont be able to see a lot of your Fgo content anymore Oni man. Your channel was the first I got into for fgo and Iv been in the discord for years now. But I hope to see some stuff here and there still.
Fgo players need to stop coping the game can’t compete or keep up with hoyo or kuro. No one wants to play a cheap looking game like this, besides Jp but they play any mid trash.
FGO only works because type-moon already has a dedicated fan base otherwise it would have ended years ago Honestly considering the money they earn, you would expect that they would improve the dated feel of the game but they don't even bother cause they know their main audience, the JP bros is already giving them enough money to not care
I vary between feeling really bad about this for RU-vidrs and not feeling bad at all when seeing the childish “I want to see FGO fail” from some people. Going too far with it is a problem. But I think people have taken blasting story spoilers everywhere too far. I think if people had been a bit more subtle with it then this never would’ve happened. I do think they should’ve found a better way. But I also think the impact is and will be minimal.
This is what happens when you let 1 single executive run a company. No, seriously. This is coming from 1 clueless meatballhead and because Japan is such a hierarchical culture dominated by the gentry, that 1 clueless suit can dictate policy without any sensible pushback from anyone.
I got all the points and totally agreed with you guys. I still enjoy FGO as a single player game, albeit being F2P, but now I know that I have my deepest darkest rage that I want to see FGO collapse and burned to the ground like Concord.
same. the game has been a slop. slow improvements, slow story progression with no content to pad in between. Outdated UI, unlimited loading screens and no solution for the wide two year gap between NA and JP. They should just release the story in a visual novel and not hide it under a monetized gacha game because honestly at this point, only the story actually matters.
New copyright guidelines severely limiting what FGO content can and can't be streamed and posted. A lot of which is old JP stuff making it harder for NA to stay up to date from now on.
The new streaming policy is so UGH. This content is literally years old, and it just makes people not want to interact with the game if they're a streamer. Meanwhile, every other gacha game is like, hey, stream the latest patch, YEAH! It gave me the excuse to slack off on FGO MORE.
I watch all your videos when deciding characters. Great content. I wonder how she stacks up now, I've been having pretty good success pairing her with Odysseus and a buster servant, I'm hoping to get herc due to stacking guts. Eventually, I want to have a viable full berserker team.
It's usually always nice to have a free welfare servant 4* SR (especially if it's an extra class),but in the case of this latest version of Liz I'm happy to do without it...I don't like it at all (and her character clashes a lot with FGO), a bit like that alter ego character whose name I don't remember the name🤔😂
Best gecko is back? Nice! I'll max her out asap, I got the mats ready. I really wish Lasaña would stop breaking our collective kneecaps with that 20% battery.
Between her and Hepha, she's the only easy Pretender to get for NA now. Hepha might be best for killing a single Servant with an Arts/Buster deck but Cute-Eyes Eli Dragon is the best solution for clearing waves that don't exceed her NP damage output as Pretenders beat the Knight Trio (takes neutral damage from them as well) and Alter Egos (who do half damage to Pretenders). Zerks also work but C-EED is also weak to Zerker damage. For those who missed out on every other Pretender (Hepha, Oberon and Lady Avalon) and need one but don't want to spend SQ getting Hepha from the Story Banner due to wanting to save for Limited Time Servants, she's the get-to-go Pretender to get as we have to wait a long time before another 4* Pretender arrives.
*10 seconds later* Guda(k)o: I only had Loliliz for 10 seconds, but if anything happened to her I would kill everyone in this Chaldea and then myself. Faker and Oberon: **How?**
