Was rewatching this after TFS because this was some of my favorite dialogue in the entire game, it’s crazy how everything she said made sense and was basically true.
Hearing this was amazing, I am a French horn player and I am hoping to go to a music college and maybe become a classical professional musician. Tchaikovsky’s 6th (what is being played) is an amazing piece and I’m glad bungie is bringing the era of classical music in their game.
this is what i missed from d1. that mysterious sense of dread. that feeling of "the very fact that this exists is terrifying, and I cant even begin to understand why"
D1 had its flaws, but the environmental story telling was vivid and great. Rasputins mysterious purpose and sense of unfamiliarity made me intrigued in his character, and i simply dont like him as much after his lore was neatly tied up and disposed of.
@@Gnomie445(sorry for the late reply) I totally understand, I think it's inevitable to feel a slight disappointment as so many of these tales reach their conclusion after so many years, usually in a rush. At the same time, though, if I take a step back and look at the whooole thing, I still feel so much love for this game and the stories we've been a part of. I may have not liked Rasputin's ending too much (though the cutscene was powerful), but I sure loved being a part of his story; activating the array, connecting him with his old subminds, protecting his bunkers and earning his trust, discovering his old and dark past, and ultimately meeting him in person before his sacrifice saved humanity once again. My brother recently started playing D2 and he likes getting caught up with the lore. When I tell him these bits of the story, I realize how long and full of turns and twists they actually are.
when i first heard this music, i told my friends to wait up and tried to shazam it but found nothing, so i told them to just wait a bit cus i loooved the way it sounded. amazing job bungo! yall always find perfect songs for everything!
Thank you for posting this- I was able to Shazam and find the exact piece from that. Symphony No. 6 in B Minor, Op. 74 "Pathetique" - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Adagio - Allegro non troppo played by the Hungarian State Orchestra (is on RU-vid too)
