There are not much reviews on polk es15...only cheap audio man done a review on that. Plz tell me how is the sound quality. Highs, mid range and bass specially for such a small size speaker. I just want a stereo setup with wiim amp.
I think the sound quality is excellent, I look forward to listening to them daily! I have noise sensitivity issues and these are a nice warmer sounding speaker. I listen to them literally all day and can’t wait for the next day. I find the highs and mids to be nice and clear and the power port really does spread the bass out to give it a bigger sound stage. Low volume you still get a nice full range of your music (condo living, never a noise complaint. The room they’re in is very lively, but not over powering anywhere else) and higher the volume they shine. I have them hooked up to a Sony STR-DH190. I’d recommend them and a good price.
@@BhavikPatelhr I need one suggestion, if my priority is both music and movie surround system with crisp dialogues then i should go for 2 floor standing speaker, subwoofer 1 center speaker or LCR with two surround speaker and 1 subwoofer. And if we combine both t series and es series will I get good sound?
@@sandipbanerji If you really enjoy surround sound experience you should go with LCR + Good sub which can go deep up to 20HZ and Surround speaker. In medium size room Bookshelf speakers for Left and Right is sufficient. I just bought Monitor Bronz LCR with Polk t15 for surround....
@@BhavikPatelhr But my fear is this with this going for surround system while hearing to music will I get the same impact i doubt. i think i will go for psw10 subwoofer. I am confused if i mix es and xt series will I get good sound?
Not sure what I’m supposed to notice here. I’m wondering if the frequencies measured is different between the two. I’d like to make accurate measurement down to 10 HZ or so and from what I understand the UMIK-1 will not measure very low.
Hi, thanks for watching the video. Here you can see sensitivity of both the calibration microphone on same volume. Regarding measurements accuracy, both the mic are capable down to measure down to 10HZ. On the box of UMIK-1 frequency response mentioned: 8hz to 20khz. I could measure up to 15hz as my subwoofer is capable up to 18hz only.

I have an organ track or two that will play down to 16 HZ so I want to make sure I can get there with not a big roll off, but I want to also make sure that after that there is a very steep roll off and no flutter or other strain on the subwoofers at lower subsonic levels.

I have not used polk. This is 10 inches with 200 watt rms and 400 watt peak. It is sufficient in my room conditions and it is very convenient to operate through mobile app. It shakes my room and furniture on volume level 85 plus with 0 gain.

Hi....I used Mobile phone to record.....I don't have any special gears for that and not have separate room for home theatre. Hence you heard little surrounding sound comes from. Sure will upload fight scene also. Thanks for watching my video. 🙏
This is great value for money speaker in their price range......I love it.......I definitely recommend......Most of the time I am not using my SubWoofer with this tiny ES15 in my drawing room. I'm planning to get es35 as center 20s as LR and 10 as surrounds..how your speaker sounds? Did you by any chance compare these with wharfedale diamond 12.2 or monitor audio bronze 100s? That's where I'm stuck at. The sub is not mandatory with these for watching movies is it? I can save some money there if that's the case. Thanks in advance
Actually i have es20 for my L R and es15 for surround. I am just testing es15 as my L R main speaker.. Many time I do not use my SubWoofer (with custom Equalizer and Extra Bass ON)...still it's satisfying me. (Please take note I am using basic entry level AVR from Yamaha i.e 1840 which may provide max 50 watt on 8ohms) These speakers working great as per my test....i compared it with elac debut f6.2 and c5.2....but it seems more sharp to me. I returned c5.2 after 15 days. You should try es30 on place of es35 if you do not have space constrain

@@arnabmallik5230 You are welcome..I have elac 3010, 10inch sub....you can try polk also....polk 12 inch sub is cheaper than Elac sub and there are good reviews for it on RU-vid And for space constrain you can go for 10inch also....refer spec and size on web My 10inch elac is of 200 rms and 400 watt on pick and it is sealed encloser

@@arnabmallik5230 You can get 10% or more discount on polk...same brand will give you smooth blend with L C R of same brand... As of now you can go without Sub also and after some time you can buy a good sub.....this is long time investment However you can try Yamaha NS SW100 What is your room size
Yes fully compatible....I do not use SubWoofer in many case....it provides sufficient bade with bit customised Equalizer in a small room of 10x15 You can watch all video to confirm.....unable to go for full volume in avr....very loud and clear
