@@christinael596 Aww yay! I used the Better than Paper Bulletin Board roll for the background, I think the borders and letters were from a brand from the Lakeshore Learning Store, and I linked the Etsy store I got the levels of understanding posters!
Love your room decor. By high school most classrooms have next to no decor. I’m sure your students appreciate your effort. Have a wonderful school year!
I appreciate your sharing this video. I am a Christian and I am a teacher at a public elementary school in Ohio. I firmly believe that I am in my position to show my students love. It is my mission field. Thank you for not being backwards in showing your faith.
I'm so glad I came across your channel. I really like your classroom. It's cozy, welcoming, colorful, functional, and calming. I love your "mistaken for a student" sign, so funny. Just a quick question: Which planner do you use? Are you a physical or digital planner? I hope and pray you have a fabulous school year as well. K--5th art teacher in Illinois
Aww thank you so much-that means a lot! I use a physical planner to mark important dates (like days off, PD days, grade posting, etc.), and then I use a digital planner (a Google Slide template) for my weekly lesson plans!
I love the progress over perfection poster! Thanks for sharing your setup process! I’m a high school special education teacher that taught 10th and 11th grade ELA before.❤
i totally agree with the christian private school dynamic as i have been in one before and then transitioning to a public school was so different yet made my life so much more peaceful!! you’re doing such a great job as a teacher keep up the great work 🩷
Oh man popcorn ceilings! I remember once as a kid my mom came in and found me laying down while looking up at the ceiling. She asked what I was doing and I explained I was looking for shapes on the popcorn ceiling like you do with clouds and stars 🤣
I love your homework philosophy! When your class is reading a novel, do you plan reading days in class or you do you split your time in class between reading and a second activity like whole group discussion?
Thanks! 🤗 I plan reading days in class and then certain days to have whole group discussion! There is the ability for students to do work/reading at home if they weren’t able to finish it during class though! 😄
I'm not a teacher, though it was interesting to get some insights on this, and i feel like your tips are really useful since I'm trying this year to make some changes, to eliminate some of the chaos that I accumulated over the years. I work from home, so although I cannot stop completely bringing work home, I should try to get as much of it out to a Caffè or library, because sometimes home does not feel like home anymore... I subscribed and now looking forward to explore more of your content. Best of luck with your channel! 🙏🏼❤️🕊
This year I had my chemistry students do elements presentation the last few weeks, and this was a Godsend! Project based is the way to go at the end of the year! Also love the Christmas card cameo!!
