Looks great! For the first shot (with cabin in the foreground), what adjustments did you make besides applying the Eastman LUT? Also how did you expose your footage?
Hey ! I had one of the very first model in France straight from Nisi. At that time it had 2 supports for the flag but apparently they changed it so now every model only has one support. Super convenient if you want to remove it fast !
I am going to Madeira next month and bringing my FX3. How did you like the Laowa lenses? I was thinking of getting a 27 and 50mm. What do you think? Or is there another brand for Anamorphic you suggest more thats in a similar price range?
Hey ! So the Laowa's are for APS-C sensor if you are aware of that its ok. But I think you would be better off with FF ones. Like the Sirui 35, 50 & 75. Also super light and good quality ! Have a good time in Madeira !
@@LudovicFremondiere have you tried the Sirui out ? I would love to see a comparison video between these two brands with similar focal length. Also, being super 35 do you notice a quality difference since it’s zoomed in?
@@lost-frequency Ive tried the 35mm Venus ( the big one ) - You can check my video of Faroe Island to see the results ! Also tried recently the 35 Saturn from Sirui. I would say the quality is the same. It's light, it's great. My only rant would be that all of those lenses lack of anamorphic character. Only downside of Laowa's set is that you have to crop in compared to a FF one. Also, buy close up lenses to put in front of your lense if you want to do so anamorphic close up shots ! Personnaly, I would pick FF for my FX3, and APS-C for a crop sensor. Makes much sense to me.
Merci beaucoup ! Vraiment content que cette approche te plaise :)) Je dois t'avouer que je sature un peu des vidéos super rapide qu'on peut trouver un peu partout ! Prendre le temps de se poser et laisser vivre un plan fixe c'est pas mal non plus !
Stunning images mate! well done! Did you use an external recorder? 🤔 or just from camera? Also: what was your post/color processing....? thanks! Cheers!
Hey, thanks Gabriel I used an Atomos Shinobi to monitor and desqueeze ! All of this footage was color graded in Final Cut Pro using a Phantom Lut as a base. Then I color corrected how I like it.
Thank you ! I set it manually depending on the light ( between 5400-5600k for outdoors, and much lower for the night time shots ). Auto white balance seems to works fine with the luts though, but I prefer to set mine manually :)
Hey !
Thanks man ! Mainly a Color Wheel, exposure adjustment and hue/tint. I am thinking about doing a color grading video from start to finish in the near future.
@@ejdimapilis5626 Its only a matter of preference, I like them all for different purposes. In my latest video I show some examples with the Eastman RM !
