He seems to have stopped singing. His fans miss him But he has made his name and his fortune. Sorry he feels that way. I have definitely gone off him now .
He never stopped singing. He has 9 albums out, 11 if you include the Great Comet and Sweeney Todd albums (for which he was just nominated for another Grammy). And he’s working on album 10 now.
He was just kidding, of course, but a 'double' in acting is someone who stands in for the real actor for certain shots; a 'butt double' exposes his bottom so that the actor doesn't have to! Hope that helps!
