Found a way. Go to the bews, go to find channels, fo to the "search by keywords" box, type in Splatoon 3, enter, click on the 3d deep cut news post, and click the "grab your in game banners" post. Hope this helps.
@@アオインク-k6vI've tried that 😢 I may just have to send them a email asking what the heck is going on and when they're planning to allow European people to get the banners
@@alli_rat It is due to the JP account, because you have the JP account on your switch, you will receive both English and JP news. For now, because the account was just created, it will only flood your news with JP things.
@@ZAIM1X The JP news will remain until the accounts that are not JP will start receiving their correct language newsletters, it will push the JP news down. This is normal.
One of the few times a step-by-step tutorial on RU-vid has worked perfectly for me, thank you so much! 🙏 Something to note though is that you do not have to look for specifically the Japanese version of the Splatoon account. If you can find any Squid Research Lab article in any language about any topic, then open that article, scroll right down to the very bottom to find the button "View Other Articles", then the news article from this video should be listed somewhere there!
@@Smug-SonicI've checked every day and still no sign of them, I'm starting to worried that I'll miss out on getting them as they're still not out in the uk yet.
@@pokemonfangirl There's been a US release apparently, but if you still can't find the article then try changing your console region to Japan (System Settings > System > Region > Japan). If you still can't find the article after that, can you give me a step-by-step breakdown of what you've tried already?
As of right now, Splatoon North America has not confirmed the release of the banners in the West, however Splatoon Japan has done so, meaning these banners are currently JP "exclusive" (exclusive in quotations due to you only needing a JP account to activate the ability to claim the banners).
No, you can 1) change an existing Nintendo account to Japanese or 2) create a brand new Nintendo account and set it as Japanese, then link it to a switch profile.
Currently, there is no way of getting them if you own a non JP account, so unfortunately there is nothing you can do. However, making a JP account allows you to claim them on your regular UK/EU account.
I've tried changing my region on my switch but it doesn't work and I don't want to make a new account for this, when will they be available in the UK because I've seen other people online who has these banners and I feel left out :(@@Vitsunne
If it says it in the video I guess I missed it, but has it been confirmed when these release for the west? I’m assuming when the Splatfest starts? Edit: as of today, (September 5th) all of the banners are available in the western news feed! Happy Splatfest guys!
Im from Europe, so im trying to follow the JP site but it says it cant find it. so i gotta wait till sept. 9 and ill get it for sure or am i getting none rn?@@Vitsunne
@@tygox2_gaming You do not need to subscribe to the JP newsletter on the switch as it would automatically appear if you own the game digitally or have save data on the JP account if you own it physically, if this is what you are trying to say.
