TRP - Totally Responsible Person. I took a course at work many years ago for a big corporation, and the guest speaker talked about being a TRP. The lesson, essentially, is that YOU are in control of YOUR reactions. If someone cuts you off in traffic, and you get upset, that person doesn't care. They're gone. But you allowed them to control your emotions. Your power comes from a greater source, so don't let the fool take control! 🙏

But I find it is possible to take a quick moment, in that moment, to let God take over, smile, and walk away. He will deal with that argumentative heart in His way, and keep you safe from following "the fool". Dear George Rosario, I needed this today. Hearing how David was persecuted by Saul and how David spared Saul's life reminds me that vengeance against my enemies is not my responsibility but God's responsibility. George, we miss you in New York. The real estate industry needs pros like you because the next generation of agents and leaders are as untrustworthy as Saul was. The Bible is speaking to us loud and clear and to me it is telling me to overlook whatever the attacks are from my enemies and to remember that God will avenge me and protect me if I stay faithful and in his presence and as long as I seek God first. I remember how you ministered to us at the Kiwanis Club in Queens every time we met at Zums on Thursdays. My brother and I are so happy that you are still blessing the world with your love for God. Keep preaching Pastor George. We need more men like you for such a time as this. I am sure Florida is feeling the blessing and the anointing that you bring. Thank you for this post! I can't tell you how many times I've seen people polarize other denominations saying that their denominations are not really Christian. Catholics in particular. We may not fully agree on doctrines - one denomination to another but the question isn't the denomination the question is are you a follower of Christ. It's the Ekklesia at the end of the day... an assembly or gathering that worship the Lord. Even those that do home churches, that's the Ekklesia of God.
You are so right Adriana. Christians do not need attacks from Muslims or other non-believers. After all, we are at each other's throats all the times with attacks from within. No priest, pastor, teacher, preacher, apostle or disciple, reverend, minister, brother or sister, not even the Pope in Rome is better, bigger, smarter or holier than Yeshua HaMashiach, our Savior Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. It's interesting how today's version of tithing from earned wages has no biblical precedent. Every biblical, systematic (required) tithe deliverable was fruits, vegetables, and clean livestock. Lev. 27:30, 32, Num. 18:27, Num. 18:28, Deut 12:17, Deut. 14:22, Deut. 14:23, Deut. 24:21, Deut. 26:12, 2 Chron. 31:5, 2 Chron. 31:6, Neh. 10:37, Neh. 13:5, Mal. 3:10, Matt. 23:23, Luke 11:42. Prosperity teachers who promote tithing like to point out that Jesus commanded tithing, but this is without any biblical basis. In the New Testament tithing is found in these passages (Matthew 23:23; Luke 11:42; 18:12; Hebrews 7:5-6,8-9). Tithing was still practiced under the law when Jesus was on earth, however, the only time Jesus mentioned the tithe was a rebuke to the religious leaders. “But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass by justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone". In Matthew 23:23 he explains they “have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith.” Jesus makes it clear that living the life of faith toward God included love toward man and was more necessary than legalistic ordinances. This was under Mosaic Law, not grace. There's no biblical evidence that Jesus ever tithed, received a tithe, or left any instructions for anyone to tithe under the New Covenant. There’s nothing wrong with tithing as a discretionary act of systematic giving. The problem arises when people are manipulated by a false doctrine that claims that tithing is a biblical, universal mandate that requires everyone to continually pay 10% of their earnings to a religious institution. This is a false claim that exploits people, particularly the less fortunate, and those are the very people we should be helping, not exploiting. Nothing in the Bible binds the believer to pay 10% of their earned income to a religious institution for the rest of their life.
#GodFirst Thank you for such an insightful comment on our video. You may be surprised to know that we do not completely disagree with your statement. Not all "religious institutions" revolve around the mandatory tithe. It is why we did this video. People's perception of the mandatory tithe is flawed. Nowhere in the Bible does it say you must give 10% even if it puts you in debt to do so. As a matter of fact, God's Word tells us that He (God) will make us lender to nations and not borrowers [ Deuteronomy 28:12 NKJV "The Lord will open to you His good [c]treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow."] Why would Our Father in Heaven require that we pay what we cannot pay just to tithe to a church, a pastor or a religious leader? This episode was released to show people that giving 10% of your income should be a voluntary act that you do from personal conviction, not from any command from a religious leader or religious institution. But, tithing with your talent and blessings, like donating your time to the place and the people where folks come together to worship The Lord is honorable and it helps advance the mission, the Great Commission. Sharing your talent with those who you call brothers and sisters matters. For example, George and Claudia Rosario are business consultants, owners of GC Rosario Group. In giving, I agree and yes, I believe we have a responsibility to assist in giving to the local church fellowship that we attend, other ministries, and other charities. Giving is front and center in the Christian worldview. For God so Loved that he gave... As mentioned above, my disdain is for those who make the less fortunate feel like something less for not being able to financially tithe or even give at times to a religious institution. I'm not indicting this ministry for doing so. I simply share what I believe to be scriptural interpretations of the subject of tithing in a hermeneutical context, which defines meaning. And in my opinion, the closer we get to the truth, the closer we get to God. Ultimately, I believe the truth is we're free to give, not bound to pay.
