It’s funny, even though I didn’t see this video guide until now, just earlier today I took a similar, if not the same route on this map when I played. Except instead using the Bag Man and the AA-12 shotgun, I was using Shaman with a modified AK and a S12 and carried a gunrunner rig (working to earn a bigger rig), either way awesome video!
This game can definitely be beaten without metaprogression. In fact, other than "more Light Essence" and "+Acorn Tower Damage," (and I guess Max Tower count) none of the other upgrades are particularly useful. Any factory pieces are only productive if built in the first couple of days. After that, the end comes too quickly for them to pay off. Because of the Tower limit, it is very important to push the fog back until you find, and fully utilize, the first Obelisk. And generally, Ballistas should be moved to the "front" of the path as you need them to shave Armor and weaken the high HP mobs for the later Acorns to finish off.
So you cant kill it? Ive been able to get up on unreachable spots and he tends to leave, i think damaging him makes it flee since i saw him fighting a exo and it ran
You should try the SCAR and other unsuppressed weapons. Going in loud gets exciting, but the XP is ridiculous. On recovering disabled weapons, I've found some amazing weapons in raids. Recovered 2 24M Antitanks (from Goldbrick) and several SCARs with the medium equipment gunrunner pack. Found a few functioning AKs and M4A1s as well.
They should have made the tanks explosive damage locked so it can’t die from simple gun fire except for using bombs like a grenade launcher, grenades, or etc.
i normally notice they spawned really close to you especially once you get used to enemy spawns and where you spawn. Like red baron is always in the hanger in elephant, or pyro is under the pipe in scorched, etc. Lots of exploration and me just spraying them down, The biggest tip against big targets is right shoulder peaking so your body doesn't stand out for them to shoot but y ou can shoot a side of theirs
I saw the tornento at right before the bride to extract but a heli did a drive by as i was gonna merc him, red baron hasn't dropped the flag for me and i cant find the sniper god, the other sniper guy, mech pilot and i think the euraska commaner is bugged since i saw him once while toothy was always there
didn't know that, kinda hard to track the same container since im all over the place, but I do loot a different container and clicking the loot all button will fix it.
Just wondering what cpu and gpu youre running as i play on geforce now (running an rtx 4080.) I just started so i dont have this much going on but im wondering if i should turn my graphics down
i use i7 9700k cpu and 2080 super gpu at the time. At first I would recommend capping the frames between 60-120 since the game can be pretty demanding. A 4080 should be enough to run the game on decent quality and keep fps above 60. it gets rough around the endless modes though since theres so much going on.
If you want to try a cool survival game try Core Keeper. A neat mash-up of minecraft, terraria, and top down arpg games with a touch of elden ring with the boss battles.
Side note, there's apparently a glitch with auto miners that if you just hold it and not place it, it will frequently mine resources without having to place it.
Including things completely out of range. Just re-select the miner from the build menu, then deselect, repeat until the blue line appears to indicate its operation.
your hamstercage needs more hiding places and hide some snacks so your hamster has something to explore a hamster trying to escape chewing on the metal is a sign of stress it will take a toll on his lifespan
I was triggered for like half hour straight with the anti-synergy of the long duration garlic with the burst being so useless there, you having not even looked at what the mutator does in other weapons :D
Holy crap that is a lot of reasons to die quickly ..... "Insane Nightmare Feral Sense Wasteland Only No Trader" ... i think the hardest would be wasteland only part ... i am in end end game of an Insane play through ... may try all sprinting, feral on ..; but only wasteland !!! good luck :)
In version 1.0 this challenge actually became possible because of how they changed the wasteland spawns… namely the bears. Regular bears didn’t ever used to spawn in the wasteland but now they seem to take up more or all of the spawn pool that the zombie bears did. And zombie bears were affected by feral sense too meaning that as soon as one got on you it was nearly impossible to get anything done because they’d be too tanky and too numerous to fight. Nonetheless, you did a good job. You’re pretty good at the game. Heh. When I play single player I can’t play anything except insane/ nightmare/ feral sense because it feels like I’m cheaping myself out by not. I also play with modded hordes because even in version 1 they’re still too easy
6:00 What is that bomber drone that comes down called? And anyone know what "size it is" for targeting settings? Large? Also are those flying boss swarm drones counted for as targets if anyone knows that was well. Missiles? Small? Bosses? Have some top CIWS set to only missiles for mostly fluff, but just wondering as never had it spawn.
