there is only 1 DRTK-2, some people label it "for matrice", but it works for the M3E, Matrice 300/350, P4RTK, etc. You will be fine with the DJI D-RTK2 regardless of the title of the listing

so you really only need this calibration if you are using dewarping, which is helpful for single shots, in mapping missions you do not need to dewarp. If you take the same lense on and off you will have to recalibrate as the properties might be slightly shifted with how the lense is put back on
Hey Chris, thanks for the great video. Do you know if its possible to use the D-RTK 2 as a hand held mapping device (mode 3) with DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral / Enterprise? Trying to use the D-RTK 2 to create some GCPs before flying, but there's not a lot of information out there.
Charging amps: if you had a 1000mAh lipo, to charge at 1C you would set your charger for 1 Amp. If you had a 500mAh battery, you would set your charger to 0.5 Amps. If you have a 1500mAh battery, you would set the charger to 1.5 Amps, and if you have a 3500mAh battery, you would set the charger to 3.5 Amps.

Hello, I'm new and I've already seen many of your videos. Question: to use the DJI MAVIC 3E+ the RTK Module, is it mandatory to also purchase the D RTK-2? I am thinking about doing topographic surveys, what precision would I obtain with and without RTK.
I just unpacked mine and I didn’t find the USB - C USB-A which one goes to the RC. I had five cables that went to the battery charger. Different styles of plugs for Europe etc mmmm I’m confused how to set it up but I’ll figure it out watching RU-vid.
The DRTK-2 can not be used to create GCPS. For this, I would reccomend the Emlid RS3 for its price point and ease of use. The Emlid RS3 can set GCPs, Check points, Known points, and can be used as an RTK base station.
Don't have the drone beside me. One of the three wires came off on the camera side where they solder on to the circuit board. Will this solution work, assuming I have that separate wire somewhere (got the unit from a friend).
you do! Just make sure you have thermal photos selected for saving. On your main camera view on the top left area where the camera settings are you should see the text 'C V I' click that text and make sure the thermal, current view, and visible sensors are checked. If the thermal sensor is not checked it will not save photos from that sensor when you click the picture button
@@TerrestrialImaging I would just add one info here, if you’re trying to activate d rtk2 for first time sometimes you may need to update it to the last version 1) connect the d rtk to the laptop( cable in the box) 2) download Dji assist 2 (enterprise) 3) you suppose to see the d rtk2 in the app and should be good to update to the latest version
i have an old green Venom pro charger. I am not sure but i don't think it is charging my batteries. I set the settings correctly then press start. It seems to read everything okay, and I get the voltage of the thing to read what it is supposed to read. However, when I put the battery in the car, there is no charge on it. I tried this with several different batteries and same thing. I also checked it by trying to charge a traxxas 8.4 volt with the Venom pro charger, then put it in the truck and it did not work. Then I charged teh same battery with the charger that came with the truck and it charged the battery and the truck ran. Any reason why this charger is not charging my batteries? is the charger shot? I bought it about 10 years ago but it has been sitting in a box for about 8 years now and I just pulled it out. Thanks.
Some good info here. Just curious if you have more info on the M2EA? The thermal does have an Alert Mode so you can get an alarm on the RC when it finds a temperature that you can preset. I can somewhat understand how it works. Also there is a Gain Mode. Which change the range of the themal resolution. Do you have anymore info on those modes? I cant find much instructions or reviews on youtube that cover these modes. It seems most reviews ppl put out were more of a race to get a review out without some ppl not actually knowing all the ins and out. Anyway, good vid once again. Would appreciate any other
How would you get a known point to place the RTK station at? If you don't have a known point and just set up the base station how accurate could you expect the data to be? I am trying to decide if I should get the DJI base station or go for an Emlid. Leaning towards the DJI since it is compatible with my T40 as well as my Mavic 3M.
Im sure you have learned the answer by now as this comment is older, but you would need someone to get a point for you, or use the Emlid to get the point. The emlid can sit on a point for a minimum of 4 hours, and then you can run that data through OPUS to get a known point. If you do not have a known point everything will be relatively accurate but not coordinate level accurate.
