I have listened to guitar virtuos my whole life i come from a family guitar players and i have to say trey spruances playing unexplanily catches my interest the most these days
I saw them during this tour. Without exaggeration the most engaging concert I have ever seen. In the crowd it was pure joy and adrenaline during the songs, ecstatic cheers and fanatical screaming at the end, then complete and total reverent silence until the next song began. No one dared to make a sound in the space this band was commanding. Absolutely unbelievable.
saw Trey with Mr Bungle in the late 90's on the California tour. Amazing show and they played for over 2 hours, with an intermission. it was pretty amazing. 250 person venue. RIP Ranch Bowl
I can die with the feeling of fulfilment for having seen them live twice in my lifetime, in 2012 and 2014. And being able to talk to Trey and give him a warm fan hug. To me it was truly like a religious darshana experience.
Saw them open for Dead Cross for two nights in NYC, great sets both times. Like an instrumental Bungle, with shades of prog. Those shows were pretty nuts in general. Did your city get the Rain in Blood/Epic encore? Nazi punks?
