i know i should have checked i though the editor would do it right. there is a beefheart playlist on the channel to make up for this travesty. thanks for watching.
I started as a metal spinner so no real welding, kind of moved to climbing fitting chasing the money. we used to do stern frames for fishing boats as well , 75mm full rebate, that was nice welding keeping those things straight.
I use to work in Bradford us mig welder fabricator at Range storage equipment and in Denso Marston us mig and tig welder, there i welded big scania radiators and oil coolant tanks for forklifts and in Ireland i worked 20 years ago in Rafferty buckets,i was welding big excavator buckets.
Ye thats werry beautiful tree,i seen some werry, werry big,i like the shape of they spikes. And would like to try work with this tree type, maybe wood turning or some resin works.
they are no fun to work on, those needles are sharp and the truck starts to develop them as well so any slip and ouch! the turners love this wood, sap is white and like latex . cheers
we have many thing to worry about, i have seen next to no bees this year, i cannot see or hear the hedgerow birds, i see feeders sitting full in gardens. not seen a bird of prey or heard an owl in two years now.
@BusbyTreeSurgery were I live in Lincolnshire we have peregrines at the church a biten seen down the local canal have like 4 buzzards living near my house
@@aarondavies8486 i was working on a steeple a couple of years ago it had a pair of lovely owls living in it, but near me i now have near two hundred wind generators and i fear they have done the damage for the raptors drop.
i do use a phone for some shots, this and most of it on go pro, and the kennycam is a cheap action camera . i think we need a wee camera that can zoom , the go pro is limited for distance stuff.
the basic kit was about 3.5k i am sure the guy told me, but he did all the fitting himself so that would have saved a grand at least. i was impressed it is a nice light unit for sitting over the back.
Put an old tire around bigger chunks of wood like that. I know it seems stupid but it really works. I didn't believe it until I tried it. I don't know how but for some reason it falls off the chopping block alot less.
@@eagleyes121290 30 years and still have never made a proper log processing area. walls on the block would help i am a bit weary of an axe springing off a tire, will try it out . cheers.
@@BusbyTreeSurgery it's easier than you think the log your splitting will absorb most of the momentum before the tire is hit. Mostly mitigating the chance of a spring back.
@@BusbyTreeSurgery Thanks for the update, Sorry to hear she hit your car. I thought I'd ask because I've been blocked in ON PURPOSE by other selfish a-hole drivers because they didn't like me parking outside their door on the road I lived on 🤬
