I dont like one thing on this scene... you have to swish and flick wingardium leviosa to make a feather levitate, but when you are animating dozens of stone statue, you just stand like rose on tip of Titanic... Although Iam Potterhead, this scene could have been better =)
He's a deeply complex character who nearly always played the right card instead of the easy card. Playing the right card might seem less humane, but overall is the best one to play. He rarely ever chose to do what was easy. Him playing the right cards is what makes him seem so bad.
They hired an international chess master to create that puzzle and it's actually a good one they didn't even show the board or give him credits at the end of the movie
