We actually tried to release two really big red grouper at the same time and the one fell off the device a little early so we had to circle back and send it the rest of the way down. Only one mutton snapper was caught and that one went in the box! The lesson learned there was to probably just send them down one at a time in that specific situation, but we went back and made sure it got all the way down the next go around.

Onc the bio's learned how slowly some of our rock fish here in ORegon grow, they implemented more restrictive regs and require the descenders. Anything to conserve the fisheries.,
