Feeling so called out! I have had a gym membership for the last two years, last week was my first day back in the last 8 months! My eating habits are in a great state, working on building muscle now💪🏾
That's great! Thank you for inspiring people to live more deliberately, and feel better in their bodies. I focused on putting on muscle quite a bit for a year up until about 9 months ago. My experience has been that I feel better, stronger, and able to do more with my body when I'm lean at 150 lbs with less muscle, than I did when I was 165 lbs with the same bodyfat % but with more muscle. The biggest difference was how much food I was eating and how much heavy strength training (natural movement, calisthenics, steel mace) I was doing. Now, with less focus on high intensity training, eating less food, and being lighter, I feel more energy, my joints feel healthier, and I can do more with my body. I feel like the main benefit to being more muscular was my self-image and confidence. Now, it's more my physical capability and how good my body feels that gives me the feeling of confidence and positive self-image. I'm not judging your priorities here, I am commenting because I would love to know how you feel, from your perspective, as it contrasts my own personal experience. Do you feel more energy, less soreness/wear in your joints, and less tired? What do you feel the benefits are that you would distinctly attribute to putting on weight and being more muscular, aside from the aesthetic and self-confidence element, that comes from defeating the stereotype of vegans being skinny? If you do feel better, do you feel like that is coming from being bigger and more muscular, or do you attribute any of that to some of the other lifestyle improvements that you have implemented, such as grounding, sunshine, proper deliberate rest, and connecting with nature? I get the impression that prioritizing getting more muscular has also come with an overhaul of your lifestyle habits in a broad sense as well. What would you attribute specifically to putting on muscle, vs the other aspects of lifestyle improvements you have made when it comes to feeling better in your body? Bless! Give thanks for your comment. The actual putting on the weight part isn’t what gets me the most benefits. It’s mostly just the working towards something and being committed to it that gives me the most benefits. As long as I’m sticking to my training and eating well, I feel good. I’m choosing to put on weight because I do like how I look and it’s inline with the physically dominant physique I’m wanting. I like it better with women as well. If I had to choose my favorite weight to be at for all around feelings and benefits I’d say 180-185. Which is an extra 5-10 lbs from where I’m at. That was also my ideal playing weight when I was playing ball. All in all, the main thing is being committed and working towards something. In this season it’s weight gain and skill acquisition (handstand, lever etc.) by products are fired up energy, self confidence and feeling extra sexy lol. Say you’re going to do something and go after it. What ever that is, go for it. Don’t worry about how it will be perceived even if it’s superficial. The benefits are in the journey. Great question. I find it’s about eating calorie dense foods! My secret is smoothies that are loaded with calories and minerals. You drink it and it covers most of your needs and then everything on top is basically gains. Also, get more active and you should also see an increased appetite

Pushups pullups and jogging with priority of stretching before and after exercising wich allows me stamina and endurances and all that is lead by the electric natural foods straight from the sources of mother earth( no man mades or growing anything) that is always dictated by dr sebi iron tonic, for the feul and foods of all races especially the african black race must be dictated by iron lead sourcell foods complimented by the tropics and sun. wellness salute
What if it’s a pull but it because of a push? For example, I am desiring to be around and grounded on Mother Nature but where I am in the U.S doesn’t offer it as much/it’s a hustle and bustle type of energy.. very face paced for my liking.
