Established 30 years ago, and based in Clitheroe, Lancashire we keep our conservatory systems at the forefront of technology and design through constant evolutionary development. We not only test all our conservatory styles in our own laboratory and modern test facilities, but we also use independent third party accreditation and testing agencies such as Wintech and the British Board of Agrément to add further credibility to our own data. In fact, every Ultraframe conservatory roofing system was given a life expectancy of at least 25 years by the BBA (British Board of Agrément) and was the first in the industry to aquire this accreditation. We can also provide recommendations for conservatory repairs in the unfortunate event of damage to existing conservatories.
This is why it's so important to use the correct specification of glass. We provide a range of high performance glazing options in a range of specifications with different U-Values and solar rejection properties. This allows the correct glazing to be used based on the orientation of the conservatory or extension ensuring it remains a comfortable temperature all year round. You can read more about the performance glass options on our website here: www.ultraframe-conservatories.co.uk/glazing-options.
Hi Darren, all bracket fixings must be fit central on the glazing bar to ensure this doesn't happen. You can download the internal pelmet installation guide here which contains more detailed installation guidance - trade.ultraframe-conservatories.co.uk/trade/media/?filter=.internal-pelmet.installation-guides.
Hi David, if you are replacing a glazed or polycarbonate conservatory roof into a solid roof using Livinroof this will require Building Regulations approval. Livinroof meets all Building Regulation requirements and is also pre-approved by JHAI and Assent to help speed up the process.
Hi Andrew, the overall U-Value of a conservatory would depend on a variety of factors but if it helps, the super insulated columns/loggia columns featured here have a U-Value of 0.15 and we can provide performance glass for the roof with U-Values as low as 0.9.
What sort of "innovative system" requires half a tube of sealant to ridge beam and all high level connections? Utter garbage that started leaking after recent freeze at only 6 months old!
Hi Abhilash, you can get a free indicative quote for a replacement roof on our website here - www.ultraframe-conservatories.co.uk/get-an-instant-quote, there is not currently an option to add solar panels.
If you can use real slates or tiles , even if you dont over tighten the screws on the tiles , they distort in the sun m not an ideal material , upgrade the roof to natural slate if poss , they last years and years , i think this roof material will have a short life span
