Nice motor upgrade. I found the stock electronics to be sufficient enough for the time being. I went with all treal aluminum links, axles, shock towers and driveshafts. Took the slop out of those plastic rod ends. Did the power hobby servo (which is a beast) with 3brothers anti foams. Thing is a ton of fun but I don’t take it too far into the woods cause it weighs over 30lbs
Nah mate I run the fly sky gt5 on all my rigs all I've done so far in that video was the max8 g2 running on 4s and motor didn't even get warm LOL and crawling down low is great aswell I think I will drop the pinion as I don't need that much speed but if I find it's not enough wheel speed I'll just run it on 6s

crazy rock formations. where is this? im thinking about getting one of these. it seems to be a really good build right off the bat that they took alot of time to really think about what the consumer wants instead of making it cheap components so they can make a quick buck. just concerned about the weight issue and its really not super designed for rock crawling. what's your opinion.
To be honest I love it out of the box the gatekeeper isn't the best crawler it's not crap but it's not the best the ecto is same design different body but a couple mods and different body they crawl amazing the cage is just a bit top heavy but just depends what you want to do with it
