Hey Phillyman! I like your voice over, good sh!t. I’m in Minnesota and wish we had some racing opportunities. I enjoy watching your races keep em coming gncc or other
I raced the 10am one with my outlander it was a hell of an experience this was my first race ive ever done did 2 laps and finished my quad too a hell of a beaten lol
Awesome video man! We all have our good and bad races lol. My brother raced his yzf450 with me while racing my old yz 250. He downed 4 beers before starting and did 2 laps before quitting. When he got back to pit he just fell over and laid there 🤣
Hey Phil, great videos mam. Love the narration. I have a question for you. Do you all have to flip your bikes to sport mode after starting and riding for a bit? Or do they start in sport mode? If so, how do you get it to stay in sport mode after shutting it off. So annoying. I have 2023 Renegade 1000r. Thx bro
Love your videos brother. I can’t remember if it’s this video or another but have you fixed the brake issue? IIRC your back brake hand lever fades? Or is super mooshy at times? Mine does the same thing it’s almost like I have to pump it.
It could be a few things. First check your brake pads, when they get low the calipers get sloppy. Brake pads wear differently for me each race, so it's always a surprise when we look at um. The master cylinders do go, make sure it's not that. More commonly is you have a pinched or broken brake line.
I feel your pain in the bottle necks. There has been an evolving trend that racers are not helping other racers in a bottleneck. They would rather sit on their quads and watch them struggle instead of helping. I'm always yelling, get off your damn quad and help them. I will also push a stuck quad with my front bumper to give them a push if I can't find another line to go around them.
I didnt know that about the parking. But it wouldnt surprise me. The moment it got sloppy, I 100% believe that the other 2 land owners probably just said NAH, its too sloppy, you cant park here. And there was piece of property directly to the right on the other side of the woods that had just as much if not more open land. It was the place that BNR stayed at that was charging $150 (or so i heard) for people to park. I wish they would use BOTH of those guys land and then you could have some field sections over by the other piece of property, plus 2x the amount of parking. But as far as the track goes. I really liked it. The first half, the rocky half was ok but the last half was amazing i thought. It was fast and flowed well and i liked the barn and the part by the road. If the entire track was what the last 4 miles were, it would probably be my favorite track out of any GNCC, aside from maybe Buckwheat. But i hope they at least give it another go here next year. If the weather is good the day before and doesnt make the property so sloppy and if they can use that other piece of land. I feel like this would be a great venue to go to. I knew when i saw the track map though, they had to cram a lot of track into a small portion of land.
1. It’s been very interesting watching your progress in B class. It seemed like the first half of last year your lap times were still similar to C class, but by the second half you were noticeably faster. This year though, you are minutes faster per lap than the fastest C class guy, which is mind blowing progress. 2. Varndell and Riggins are the guys that I want to race like when I grow up. 3.Your idea of the class colors on the front of the quad is brilliant.
