How beautiful! I love this video, just subscribed to your channel and shared it with my family and friends on social media. Turning 62 years old this month, and after wanting roses in my garden for decades, my Heirloom Rose journey begins. I can't wait to receive my Treloar Roses for my birthday and learn from your team how to look after them! 🌹
When I was putting my rose in the ground today out of the bucket. Most of the root ball broke of, I was easy with it, but I would say half of it was gone. I water the hole before and again once the rose was in the ground with horse manour packing the hole. Is there any thing I can give it to increase roots??? Do you put wax on the parts you have cut???
It's hard to comment without seeing your plant. Quite often a rose will callus over where there has been a cut or scrape. There is a product called MycoGold which is a complete balanced mycorrhiza blend including endomycorrhiza, ectomycorrhiza, trichoderma and beneficial bacteria to increase plant compatibility and boost production. This product will increase the root production of your rose plant and encourage better growth.
What a great video. Straight to the point with very useful information. Thank you! My rose has the upper root ball with basically no stems right now. I'm using every bit of information in this video and hoping for the best!
I have a bought a dozen Roses as Bare root and so I needed to watch a video on planting instructions . This vidoe is a essential Watch on how to plant a Rose before you get that Spade in your hand. Thank you for the Video !

What a great video. Thanks for uploading. May I ask what the best composition / type of soil is and what mulch covering you would recommend? Pea-straw ok?
I have ordered 20+ roses for this winter which the majority are David Austin roses. I have a question for you, in the mean time I have bought 2 x Wollerton Hall bare root roses (online orders sold out) today but the planting spot in the garden hasnt yet been identified as I have to install an arch I bought which will take some time. The bare root roses are currently sitting in a bucket of water. How do I treat the rose till I have its place in the garden ready? Is it safe to plant it in a pot, another area of the garden etc.? Would really like some help, thanks.
Hi Nilgun. Depending on the time frame. You can place them in pots , no problem. If for only a few weeks you can also dig them in together into the same hole temporarily.
These look like a copycat of The David Austin Roses hybrid tea roses. I.E. "Heaven on Earth" looks like "Lady Emma Hamilton" by David Austin Roses. This company isn't very original. Smile.
Can I put bone meal in the hole when first planting or just wait for the recommended time to pass and fertilize? I usually also use Rooting hormone on my plants when putting them in ground. Thanks!
I ordered this rose from chandlers nursery Sandy Bay In Hobart Tasmania a few days ago. They will get this rose from Treloars in Melbourne Australia for me bare rooted in winter 2022 along with a few others I've ordered. Sunny Sky a hybrid tea rose and Eyes for you a floribunda and My little angel a minature rose.. I will probably ad a few more later. I have around 117 roses. Some I will remove as they are unproductive or not very disease resistant.. Newer varieties are better growers with better disease resistance. Starburst looks like a very pretty rose... I recently brought It's magic and eye of the tiger . Very happy with both.
I brought this yesterday from chandlers plant nursery Sandy Bay in hobart Tasmania. It was potted on flower. It's a stunning little rose .doesn't tell you on the label that it's perfumed. But it had sweet spicy scent. Very unique colours of red white creamy lemon I love it I have 115 roses now 116
