We’ve been handcrafting footwear in America using the finest materials from around the world since 1922. It’s a time-tested practice that involves 212 different steps, 48 pairs of hands and results in what we’re proud to call real shoes.
Building the best footwear requires a passion for every stage of the process. The people, the materials and the commitment to quality in each stitch that make our shoes and boots the height of timeless American style. From hand-selecting the leathers to the final polish, join us for an in-depth look at the combination of traditional techniques and innovative procedures that go into making footwear that exceeds expectations right out of the box and for years to come.
Traced the names and this is closest to 1958, which style and music suggests as well. (see also "The Jetsons" satire of 50s life first created about then)
5:00 Zen Astral Projection or Stairmaster of Puppets? Its like they work at half speed and with full concentration on quality. you cannot buy attitude like that today. everything seems assembled by a barrel of drunken monkeys after a coffee-drinking challenge.
Wearing a pair for a week, then rotating to a new pair, in order to create a patina or to break them in, is fine. Never use the word never LOL but I get what you are saying. Rotate your shoes.
LOVE the green… and on a hand-sewn loafer. CRAZY smart‼️Not sure the camera does a decent job of showing the new ultra-violet color. Have to see that in person-hoping a trunk show comes to your store at Polaris/north of Columbus,OH. Wearing my single monks now; been an A-E client since the 70s. I refer to each of my A-E pair as my “ Happiness Shoes.” My feet just aren’t happy if I’m not wearing Allen -Edmonds! Glad to support an American factory.
I live in Wisconsin and I always wanted a pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. Problem is I have a very wide foot width 6E. I need to call them and see if they can make them?
It's so weird for such an iconic shoe brand like Allen Edmonds to make a completely pointless video about a new feature like this one. The video utterly lacks detailed information and kind of misleading (why called a bench welt a bench welt if it's already a goodyear welt)?
For sure great shoes. What I don't understand they still sold to customers some poorly made pairs as firsts. (lots of loose grain, uneven eyelets are some to mention) Yes they do accept returns, but what a needless stress for the buyer, most specifically if he is from overseas.
Not a lot of info there to understand how hard you are on them, but I'd suggest you go to a cobbler. That's what people normally do, they take them to a cobbler to get re soled
What the F*ck Alen Edmonds? No focus on the stuff your selling. No mention of why your product is great. Just a bunch of people weirdly fake smiling????? Maybe next time have a video showing that quality dress shoes don't hurt your feet and how a nice dress shoe can make you look and feel like a million bucks.
Great shoes trees. And I live in Ozarks of Olahoma. These cedar trees are invasive and destructive. Please use more. You can have all mine (5,000 or so in 7 acres)
If you made all your shoes in America, that would be great. I already own a couple pair of your shoes and plan on buying more. By the way the Elegant Oxford and Trenton and Health are your best marketing agents.
