I was just watching the voyageurs wolf video with various animals rolling in a scent hotspot! It makes you wonder what happens after you discretely wee in the forest !
Bob, I love watching your videos! The animal behavior you capture is fascinating and the video quality is amazing. What cameras do you use? Do you have a preferred trail camera?
Thank you! I use Browning Trail Cameras. I think they're the best current combination of quality and price. I prefer the ones with no-glow led illumination.
That was not me at the end but a random hunter. I'm grateful that he didn't mess with my camera. The canid at the end is a coyote. However, coyotes in the north east do have about 30% wolf DNA from cross breeding over the millennia. So, around here, they do get fairly large and certainly distinguishable from their south western US cousins. Glad you enjoyed the footage! Thanks!
When a gobbler goes into strut, puffs up to display, he emits a low frequency "hum," known as drumming. The sound is subtle and incredible! The animal in the tree is a porcupine. There are quite a few in this area. Thanks!
I have not encountered many turkeys in trees as I am not a hunter. But when I have and they flew, it scared the crap out of me. They are surely loud when they take off!
