What is interesting, is half way during the song they realize what a great drummer Marky was. He was the third best drummer they had after Richie and Tommy. Shows you how great they were.
Thank you for sharing this..❤ I’ve been listening to this version for a few years now and figured I’d look on RU-vid to see what other versions I might find. Lo and behold.. The timing of Tre’s entry into his solo at 6.31 is the sweetest. Wish I was there..
The Beach Boys were a big influence on the Ramones. Check out the a band on here called The Ramouns and their albums "Rockaway Beach Boys". They do Beach Boys songs in the style of the Ramones with all the harmony.
Without Johnny’s distorted guitar, the Ramones would’ve sounded just like this. They were a pop band that invented punk rock, it’s not so far fetched when you think about it.
Amen, brother. I will politely disagree regarding best version, however, and add that Deer Creek '97 has a little somethig to say about that as well... w w w . phishtracks. c o m /shows/1997-08-10/harry-hood Fall '94's were no slouch either. You can feel good! ~Long Live The Phish~
