Hi, If i try to do the same, I blocks allready at 1:42 where you explain how to save the project as TestMap. If I' am trying to do that, I receive a notification that it cannot find the file- Control if the filename and try it again ... I allready tried it a lot of time ..... So any idea, what goes wrong?
Okay I got it now that you really don't need the transitions file for all of the areas around Alaska, but in the video it really sounds like you do. Otherwise great a video!
May I suggest you either slow down a lot or make your cursor a distinct colour so we can follow where you are going o do your 'clicks"...since this is supposedly for beginners. Don't forget that beginners don't know where things are so can't anticipate where you are going.
it doesn't work for me, I download the data but then it doesn't allow me to drag it in the layers. I tried different ways and it worked yesterday, but today after more than an hour trying to sort it out I failed to understand why I can't import and use the dowloaded files.
@@kehis I'm having the same problem. I downloaded the zip file, but when I try to import it into QGIS, I get an "Invalid Data Source" error message. The source is my Downloads folder on a PC.
Thank you for this video, unfortunately the url doesn't work so I used the other you proposed in a comment. eventually I end up doing "agricultural areas in Danemark", it's fair enough right? ahah
The url to bioscore is; WMS URL: miljoegis.mim.dk/wms?servicename=miljoegis-plangroendk_wms If it doesn't work try this one from Europe's envionment agency (EEA): land.discomap.eea.europa.eu/arcgis/services/Land/CLC2012_LAEA/MapServer/WMSServer? Hope i works!
Hi, the wms url works for me, but there may be a geoblock on using it. Here is another from Europe's envionment agency (EEA): land.discomap.eea.europa.eu/arcgis/services/Land/CLC2012_LAEA/MapServer/WMSServer? Hope i works!
Hi, I had to stop when loading the WMS data. I used the URL in the description but got a "Failed to parse capabilities" when I clicked on "bioscore". Can I fix this?
Are you sure you've written the correct url? I can only replicate your error when I misspell the url. Try pasting this exact url to a new WMS/WMTS connection; miljoegis.mim.dk/wms?servicename=miljoegis-plangroendk_wms - hope it helps!
