i use LA Custom C7 Classical for my main grand, Double Felt Grand Dark with the main LA Custom pulled back for a softer sound, and my bright octave up piano for leads is Arturia Piano V2 Piano Bar Simple with a crap ton of compression and the treble boosted
I don't think that would be possible, as it is dependent on dozens of plugins and virtual instruments that aren't stock in Ableton...I would also advise designing something that is organized for your needs which may be different than mine!
@@BryanSpahr It is dependant on a lot of plugins and VST, which luckily I do have all except for Kontakt, Decent Sampler, and Omnisphere, which I think I can replace them with something else. I do use the same Korg Nano Control as well.
Really love your teaching style especially how you tie in real life use cases. I would love to see more of how you use Audacity. I saw a couple of other videos before that were strictly feature/function and wondered "Why in the hell would you ever use this feature?". Only you answered the why.
ha you must not be familiar with Tyler Joseph and 21P...the vocals are going through the external out mapping you can see briefly in the beginning of the video...physically, from the line out in the back of my interface into the pedalboard
@@rizzbot7613 Define intermediate. Were Paul Simonon, Tina Weymouth, Paul d'Amour or Tim Commeford beginners or intermediate when they wrote some of the best songs and bass lines? How good is the bass player in Seven Nation Army (it's a trick question)? We're not orchestra musicians, there is no 'there,' it's about enjoying every second and expressing yourself.
@@hedekbass so now you’re comparing this guy to Tim Commerford? Flat out, this guys chops aren’t good. To make a comparison to this bass player and some of the professionals you’ve named is almost comical. I think we’re done. Keep practicing bud
@@rizzbot7613 1991 Timmy C. yes. That's precisely my point. Many of our idols and successful bass players probably wouldn't have passed the judgment of internet 'judges' that we have to deal with today. Every time someone posts a video, someone has to comment about how they're not quite that good yet. It's pointless and tiring.
i keep the boost on the morning glory on, and i try to set the gain of the other side so that the volume doesn't increase much when i turn it on, just the level of dirt
Great video....love your creative use of all the pedals, I have the D1 which is my favourite delay on my board. So nice to hear the pedals demonstrated without some maniac stacking overdrives and shredding like a madman😅
Thank you for the video! Just a side note. Audacity is spelled like er, audacity. Yup. It’s a word. Someone who is audacious displays audacity ...so it aint a pun. I’ll just crawl back into my boomer box now.
so i got the dial up sound and made a sonic.exe's hidden level where you collect all 3 black rings and get yourself in the dark room as sonic (normal sonic, not ".exe"), and you walk in this room with screams and static noises and other things happening here, and i seem to like it, thanks mate.
Poor SP didn't even get mentioned lol. Great post! Dropped a like, I also rock a Big Muff & OC-2 but man that kilt pedal by I'm guessing JHS sounds amazing!
