If the rangers make the final has anyone seen a team make it to the final the way they will have. They are horrendous 5v5, they get dominated for long swaths of games to the point that it’s crazy when you look at the score and see it’s tied or they are winning????

Bieksa’s hart take is so bad. There’s no doubt Tampa would have been a bottom 10 team without Kuch. They are no longer a top team in the league because of the depth they’ve lost. The fact Kucherov had the best season of his career and they only were in the wildcard shows you how bad the rest of the team was for most of the year. He absolutely carried that team like no other player in the league up until the trade deadline where he started to get more help.
I also think a big problem is that real fans can’t afford those tickets. Biggest issue with MSG. I fucking love it there, but I’m just a teacher, I don’t have that kind of money to spend.

Before the start of the post-season I had Florida vs Dallas in the final. Still alive. Carolina lost in 4 straight last spring because Bobrovsky went on an epic heater starting game 5 vs Boston down 3-1. He was the primary reason Florida then upset Toronto & Carolina. Andersen didn't play badly, but "Bob' was red-hot. This NYR series was different. Andersen was back to what he did with the Leafs. He allowed soft goals at critcal moments. Some 'tenders rise up to pressure, while others wilt. Freddy's in the latter category. Not a 'money' goalie.
in the 3 seasons McDavid square off against Toch's Coyotes ( didn't play each other covid season) McJesus racked up 14 pts in 11 games.... though had 3G 4A in 8 games in the 17-18 and 19-20 seasons combined.. so those two seasons maybe help Biz's argument, but he absolutely cooked the Yotes in 18-19 for 5G 2A in just 3 games....
I don’t think the Rangers lost three games in a row throughout the whole season…. thought they were gonna lose that game and go to seven, but I was pleasantly surprised at the heart
