When you put the large fiberglass sheet down onto the tray... is there a reason you put a full sheet down and glassed/ epoxed it down?.. you then put the foot hold in the holes and it laid on TOP of the fiberglass sheet.... Ive never done it that way and was wondering if there was a purpose to that part. .. thanks for taking the time to video and detail it out...
Hello! I have bought the same footwells and I am in the installation process. The left one is perfectly attached. The right one needs 5mm more to perfectly match and this is due the exhaust pipe. I had cut the hull in exactly the same place as you. What did you do to fit it perfectly in the exhaust side? Thank you in advance.
Can you share what the traction mat green and black rubber material you guys are using on this???? I love it and want to get some for my boat and skis!
Nice job... What footholds did you go with for this video and how do you find them? I'm needing to get a set but can't make up my mind and we don't have shops that sell them so need to import them all in without testing. I'm a UK 9 will be using the ski mainly for the surf and will be wearing jetpilot boots.. Any advice will be appreciated. Currently looking at WAMILTON RICKTER or BLOWSION KICKER footholds
KimiZyy yes you need a mat kit to suit the type of footholds you are using, we used the the hydro turf freestyle kit on this build. Alternatively you can get uncut sheets and cut your own mat to the shapes you require
