Wow😮😮 Brilliant. A huge WELL DONE!! to everyone who has worked on this layout. I wish I could have been there to see it in person, but great video and thanks for showing it. Barry UK.
hey mike glad to see you doing well. shame that you guys cant get together right now but it will come back............ i hope ?? any way if that was me i would have to be running some trains there. just couldnt go to a layout like that with out running some trains ha ha !!!! know what i mean? be good and safe and thanks for the video
The dark moths that are about an inch long have bred like rabbits this year--millions of them at the canyon. I suspect our bats are going to be waddling soon!
I very much enjoyed this video. Great layout. Your run day made it a great day for rail fanning. I especially liked the refinery. Excellent structure. If I'm ever in Las Cruces I'd love to see the layout. Thanks.
@@N-Scale Hi Mike. Thank you very much the invitation. I live in Los Angeles. But if I get to Las Cruces I'll certainly visit the club. I subscribe to your UT channel too. Like all the great things you're doing with your layout also. Happy New year.
I want, no wait, I NEED a wind turbine freight set. Where does one find such a thing? Or is it scratch built? If so what type of flat car is the starting point? Or is the car specific to that load as well?
Attractive layout. The lightening flashes are neat. Are you using the Woodland Scenic's lighting system for the structures? Personally, I don't favor Unitrack, but paint and ballast would improve it. Thanks for the tour. Looks like everyone is having fun.
Thanks and No , the led's are China Ebay and we do not ballast on purpose as we can replace track and turnouts (if needed) without major scenery hassles. Thanks , Mike
Hi Mike! Looks like you guys all had a fun run day. How did you take those high overhead "aerial" shots of the trains running? Did you stand on a high platform to shoot the footage, or did you use an aerial drone? Take care and happy rails to you. -from Tom Pilling
Very Cool Mike! Some great shots of the club layout, looks like the open house went well, the cab ride not so much lol, enjoyed it, thanks for sharing,
7:27 that's not BNSF, that's Indiana, which is cooler for me since I live along the indiana railroad and see those engines in real life everyday. That would be cool to see it with a Santa Fe or that far west. Thanks
Hi Mike! Great N scale showing at the state fair! Our scale needs more goodwill ambassadors like yourself and your other club members to promote N scale model railroading. Thanks for the wonderful job you do! -from Tom Pilling
In general, I enjoyed the video, however I'm beginning to see that if locomotive sound is too loud, it's really annoying. For example, no matter where you were filming, that steam engine could be heard real well. I really wish that people would realize that sound needs to be scaled down too. Perhaps the club could benifit from a speedometer for slowing down the trains. But running so fast might be the result of not walking with your train. At any rate that's my 2 cents worth! Keep on having g fun, Bill
While I agree with all you said , we have chosen NOT to make rules about such things, as every club I have been in has usually ruled themselves to death. As some things are annoying, that others may do, we ALL have to have fun with the layout in our own way. Thanks , Mike
Hi Mike, very nice run session video. The layout has come a long way in 6 years. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. Thanks for sharing this layout with us. Randy
