Welcome! We are Brian and Heather and we are living in a van full-time on the road!
We started our RU-vid journey to document our travels and adventures to some of the best places the United States has to offer. In 2023, looking for a more adventurous lifestyle, we sold our house and are now traveling North America in our self-converted camper van, named Vanson! We do lifestyle, adventure, travel, cooking, hiking and more!

just found your channels, love the biking and van life/ build, i haven't watched them all but what do you two do for income? remote work? glad you made it out to utah, been here most of my life and besides all the people moving in from say..... CA i love it here.. thanks for the content!
We LOVE your state. We had a very good experience there and can't wait to back to see some more of it. And yes we work remotely from the van with Starlink.
Nomaders are probably better off than those with fixed abodes. The problem with Arizona is that NO ONE wants to work. You hire a company to complete a job for you, and they may or may not show up at all, even if you've paid. You'll hear, "We'll be out to your site next Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm sharp." When Tuesday comes, they're no-shows. You'll email to find out what happened and why they didn't show up, only to hear, "Oh, sorry about that. We couldn't make it after, but Thursday for sure!" Thursday comes, and you go through the same thing again. It doesn't matter who you hire or for what purpose, you'll always end up having to DIY. HOW does this state even survive?
OK.... super small world moment. Today in our community someone said that you were one of their favorite channels (easy to see why.) BUT... that's not the small world part... We were parked beneath you in Bluff! 😂 We were the 5th wheel workin' on replacing our decals. 😂You did have the best spot in that area!! -J
Oh my God what a small world! Lol. It's times like these I wish I was more social and went down to say hello! I peed over there a few times, I hope you didn't get more than you bargained for with the views 😂
@@BrianandHeather 😂 Should've tossed the drone up a few times. 😂😂😂 I hear you on the social front. I think we were very much like you that week and hunkering down and getting work done! -J
Thanks! The Moab area is beautiful as well if you're heading that way. There's a highway (128 if I remember correctly) that runs along a river north of Moab to i70. Gorgeous road!
Thank you very much for this epic absolutely wonderful adventure you took us on. You are absolutely wonderful you two. Now I have a curious question for you Brian, Do you speak Swedish? that's something I've been wondering about. I hope you have a very nice journey, I hope you had a good time and I hope you have the best. Hugs from Gotland Sweden
Wow guys. Beautiful scenery! Your spot for the week...was that BLM? The MOUSE...do you know how/where it got in? Very curious because we have the identical model Promaster and are gearing up to do a build on it
It was BLM yes! The beginning near Zion was also. The end of this video is just east of Bluff Utah. Not much there but it was quiet, which we like. The mouse I'm not sure. I suspect he came in through the rubber where the wires come out and go to the rear bumper for the sensors. Im planning to seal that up and then all of the holes I can find in the framing channels as well because they are all interconnected and leave to the little triangle areas in the cargo living area.
hehe love how you shook hands entering Nevada! You got some cool shots there driving on the Vegas Strip. We arrived at 2am at the Vegas Strip for the first time with our girls. It was pretty epic to first see at night... like you guys it was just on the way to see beautiful destinations though. Ahhh Utah is so GORGEOUS! Excited to see where you end up staying. New subs :)
Absolutely LOVE Utah so far! It's such a beautiful state. Checked you guys out and had to mention we went to Presque state park in our new york video! Such a cool place we just happened across on our travels. Hopefully someday we can make it back that way to visit a little longer.
I live on the road full-time pulling a fifth wheel. No matter where I go I see people coming in places and even though there’s a lot of room, they always seem to want to congregate close to others. I think they feel safer that way. This is my second year in quartzite and you went to the busiest area Laposa south. I’ve been in the Laposa north and both years and it has less people than the other three areas. People congregate down in Laposa south because of the water and dump station.
Probably best to leave your $$ in your wallet rather than in Vegas.😂 I've never been to Utah, can't wait to see your view of it. Only thing I would like more is to see it from the seat of my Harley 😊.
