A fascinating range of London accents and rarely heard today. I suspect even those still alive talk somewhat differently today. I'm old enough to remember 1977 and it's shocking how historic this film feels. Off to watch some episodes of The Sweeney...

A gorgeous aeroplane and the most handsome of all jet airliners - and I include Concorde in that comparison. My father flew them for BOAC & BA and, as a youngster, I was lucky enough fly in them quite a bit. There is nothing like them - just wonderful from whichever angle you view.
You can listen to her and know that she was a totally involved mother. Very unusual for such a wealthy family to have such a hands on mother. She knows all the details of what she speaks. Impressive woman.
