My dad bought one from a neighbor for $1,650 around 1973, I was 10 years old. We took it to Colorado, drove i70 through the newly opened tunnel; only 1 lane each direction. Dad sold the car around 1974 for $1,650. Gas, reg,oil change and maintenance kept these lil beasts going. Yours runs great! Notice how prominent the cigarette lighter is and slot for an 8 track player.
Hyde tools 20 years ago my handle snapped and I opened up under the handle and on the metal it said made in Japan but on the plastic handle it said made in USA, so the handle must of been made is USA or did they put it together in the USA, 😂
What do you mean? It's an American company, like most they get their shit cheaply made in China and other mostly Asian countries. Nothing new. It's still that company's product and that company still exists, in the US.
The Datsun 410/411 was a masterpiece. Nissan didn't let anyone feel it was a Datsun and Pininfarina styling made it feel lika a budget Fiat/Lancia. Luckily Pininfarina was versatile enough for designing cars for all countries and was the only Italian firm good at making full-size rim-fit wheel caps, something Japanese manufacturers always wanted & Italians never had a culture of until the 1980s.
Nice car. I might bid. I already have a SSS Bluebird, but I kinda like this one better in a few ways. Thanks for the video and good luck with the sale.
