These Characters are worlds apart they need to make adjustments for sure. The heavy needs to have pressure and I'm not seeing that in any of this game play maybe he too weak?
Great game from both of them. Fast-paced; worthy of a rivals 1 game I'd say, really brings back the original essence. One of the best Orcane combo games i've seen although the finishers were kinda lacking. Great job from Sundra making whole comebacks from any of Gremlin's mistakes.
I managed to learn a lot from this match and realized I was playing Elliana all wrong. Even discovered an eject spike setup on accident when I panicked while trying to knock a friend off screen.
Yeah, it's kinda sad honestly. Seeing orcane's signature moves becoming pretty much useless just like the back air combos and finishers made the character lose its magic and all that's left is its charismatic design, but besides that, not much to get from it
@@redel_ionz I think it's far too early to judge a characters design based on a single player (even if it's Kusi) when the game hasn't even released yet. On a side note, Kusi's gameplay is generally extremely RTC heavy with any character, not every good Orcane has played the beta like this. Kusi may be onto something that RTC will be a problem for variety in neutral (I believe it's a criticism for the game of his) but we don't really know yet.
@@redel_ionz Honestly I don't care if he's not like in Rivals 1, his current kit is super adapted to fighting shields, bubbles, bubble butt and his grab really makes it feel like a checkmate situation sometimes it feels so good. If I'm being honest I'd love to see Orcane becoming even more of a shield agressor, by making bubble butt, nair bounce, up b and side b, empowered ledge special, back air and up air have higher/slightly higher shield damage, his strongs already have enough shield damage they're fine for that role, especially when empowered, and making bubbles having a bit less reward when parried.
To me it’s not even what he was saying, it’s how desperately his partner was trying to cover it up and he just wasn’t noticing😭😂grsmash can make a top 10 cringiest commentator moments for rivals now
